The working man pays again. The crooks get away. Did anyone think that our leaders would help the average man. Until we clean out congress it will not change. The lending institutes should of fail, not get rich. I am mad as one could be. Congress does not have one that will stand up and put these other on the spot. CLEAN HOUSE IS THE ONLY WAY

Coburn betrayed every conservative that believed in him and voted for him. I hope he gets owned in the next election, and I don't care by whom. I certainly won't EVER vote for his backstabbing socialist ass again.

I hope conservatives remember that Coburn wasn't the only turncoat; some of the blame should go to Fallin and Cole... and all of our votes should go to TRUE conservatives.

Coburn's an idiot. Even the Federal Reserve Board reported they caused the Great Depression. With each financial crisis, the rich consolidate with unto themselves. That's why financial crisis' are engineered.

Nobody bailed me out when I had mounting medical bills, and asked my mortgage company for help and they declined to lower my bill $100 a month. I was forced to file bancruptcy and I had a great health insurance program. I am just now getting out from under that and now face higher interest rates because I filed a partial bancruptcy. I keep having to pay the price again and again and again.

JUS LET ME ADD SOME information you folks don't know about this 700 billion dollar bailout: this comes from an article printed in theNEW YORK TIMES, in APRIL 2004 a hearing at the SECURITIESAND exchange commission (SEC) which at the time went largely unnoticed by most media outlets 5 big WALL STREET INVESTMENT BANKS asked forand recieved from the SEC an exemption from capital reservesrequiremets that restrained investment at their BANKS.the exception pertained to WALL STREETS biggest investment bankswith assets f 5 billion dollars or moreand freed up billions they were re required to hold in reserve against losses on investments. the new funds would be invested in "mortgage backed securities, creditderivatives, aform of insurance for bond holders, and other exotic instruments". the same intruments that now comprise most of the toxic assets to be purchased with the 700 billion $$$ bailout approved byyour congress AND THE BANKERS COMPLAIN ABOUT YOU THE CITIZEN NOT HAVING A SAVINGS TO FALL BACK ON, NOW THEY WANT US TO BAIL THEM OUT WHO IS GOING TO BAIL US OUT i ASK among the the5 investment banks eaning on the SEC at that meeting was GOLDMAN SACHS GROUP, AND GUESS WHAT THE HEAD OF GOLDMAN SACHS was Paulson andhe then he later came to be the current head of the TREASURY DEPTMENT.

Coburn isn't a bad guy, but he has too much on his plate and can't handle it. Not a fan myself, after he went on a 2 week vacation while my mother was supposed to be under his immediate care. He forgot, she nearly died. Can't help but take that personal. There's more to the story, but basically, he's senile...

thats what I call them, closet social:: thats a republican wo is a socialist who lives in a closet. similar to gays who still hidden being gay. only the closeted socialist is worse he comes out lots of times then returns to the closet, peeking out to watch for another opportunity to turn socialist agin to give your hard earned tax dollar to the rich. they call it a tax break and loop holes in the tax book which only the rich can have an opportunity to use. specially written only for the rich. to give them another oppunity to become richer. you the working stiff do not qualify for the tax breaks. ever hear of a CEO paying taxes om his all of his pay and going away golden parachute, nope. andyou never will. COBURN HAS HIS GOLDEN PARACHUTE TO INCLUDING A HEALTH PACKAGE PAID BY YOU THE TAX PAYER. ASK HIM HOW MUCH PE PAYS IN TAXES ON THE FULL AMOUNT HE RECIEVES AND IT WILL BE LESS THAN YOUR TAXES

I have already informed Mr. Cole that he will not have my vote this time around. I agree with the "clean house" concept. I can't think of any incumbant for whom I actually want to cast a vote. Where have all the idealists gone. It seems that almost every person we send to Washington is or becomes interested only in accumulated wealth and power.

By the way, Fox News reported that 52% of the "bailout" monies disbursed thus far by the government have gone to executive salaries and shareholder dividends. Who did Coburn say he was trying to help with his vote?

I'm sorry, I was being childish. I wasn't questioning your socialist description, I was giving you a hard time for spelling socialist wrong 'Ocialist'

Sorry, I'm feeling immature today :)

LNC; my fingers don't work to good any more , but my stays harp whittling on those closet socialist that calls themselves republicans with a capital R and then links themselves to being a hardcore CAPITALIST. THEY ARE ONLY REPUBLICAN CAPITALIST W WHEN it suits their when then need money they stay in the closet and peekout of the dark so no one will see them being socialist populist. da i have a sharp nife tonight, don't I. they always take from the middle class when they are in dire straitsand in need of money. amd them they don't add it to the budget, they done same to the bailout, the iraq war and the S&L bail out. one failing republican bail once agin.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aries

Someone wants to go their own way today and they won't care whose feathers they ruffle in the process. It's a lunar eclipse at the Full Moon in Cancer, so let them get on with it. The last thing you should do now is to hang on to their coat-tails or do anything else that will make them feel restricted. Make it plain that you've got your own fish to fry, thank you very much. And try not to let it stop you enjoying yourself. Have a great night!
