teach the workers to stop stepping out into oncoming traffic without looking. what is a motorist supposed to do when one of those guys walks over the invisible boundary , even when your doing the construction zone speed limits and lookin for those guys to step out they pop out into traffic and then the driver is the bad guy.they wont tell you these guys are just as much at fault.

Goat Scape - you got it. They don't want anybody's input but deep pocketed lobbyists and their bureaucratic buddies in D.C. And moreover, commuter rail is a terrible idea. That is, unless they do it the right way, which is inconceivable in the state of Oklahoma.

The Tulsa metro area is not designed for commuter rail mass transit. People here don't live in mass density like in some other "Big Cities". People around here (for the vast majority) live in subdivisions spread out to the four winds. How would you propose actually getting to the rail station? And then, how does one get from their stop to their place of business or wherever they are going? Walk? Take a cab? Yeah right.

Anyone would love to know that just because the contractors have to do business with D.B.E.'s, which stands for disadvantaged business enterprises that 193rd Street in Tulsa cost the State and Tax Payers an extra ONE MILLION DOLLARS. What a waste Channel 6 needs to do a little research into this. The One Million dollars could have been used somewhere else. I think there are a lot of companies that are disadvantaged in this day an age. Taxpayers need to start asking questions. Channel 6 check into the signs and see why the inspectors are not making the awarded DBE's follow the exact specifications on their drawings for the construction signs. Companies that are honest and trying to survive in this economic hardship are being put out of business by this inappropriate business manner. ODOT do your job, INSPECTORS DO YOUR JOB!!!! MAKE THE CONTRACTORS DO WHAT THERE SUPPOSED TO DO. START QUESTIONING THE DBE SYSTEM FOR SURE

Sagittarius

All communications go wonderfully well today. You manage to say the right thing to the right person at the right time, and to keep off any topics that have the potential to cause upset or embarrassment. Brilliant! If you're going to a social event you'll be one of the stars of the show and might even carry home the phone number of someone who'd like to see you again.
