Why wouldn't people vote for Tony Tague if his office is getting all of these convictions and winning trials? On the other hand, with a new prosecutor and the same staff, wouldn't they get the convictions and trial wins anyway?

With all of the "stories" I have heard his record isn't really all that great. It has been said that if he doesn't feel he can win a case he makes the person in trouble such a good deal that they take it, instead is risking going to jail; no matter if they are guilty or innocent. From what I heard today Tague actually stepped foot in a courtroom for the first time in 14 years. Why? Just because it is an election year and people are running against him. He never bothered before when nobody was running against him. What's to say that if he does win this election he'll go back to sitting in his office all the time or hanging out at his restaurant(which isn't in Muskegon County)? If he wins the 2008 election the only time people will see him is when he is preeing in front of the tv camera's. This political bs of his is making me ill.

I think that technically speaking, "yall" is not a word, but that "y'all" is a variant of "you-all." This means that you just said "all you-all are illiterate, except mcbushed." The correct way to say it, as if you were a guest on the Maury Povich Show, would be "y'all are illiterate." If you're right, I'd rather stay illiterate.

well, Tony lives with his office manager who supervises his support staff for one. He has been accused of sexually harassing other staff as well (remember?). He has not tried a case in over 15 years. He petitioned and got a raise for his live-in girlfriend from the board of commissioners (that our tax dollars pay for) and now she makes more than most of his attorneys. He spends time during the day (hours) at his restaurant (which by the way is not even in Muskegon county and he wants our vote) while we pay him to do prosecutorial work he's working his restaurant....gee, my hand is getting tired.

oh, let's not forget the "business" trip for prosecutors that he took for a week and the county paid for his girlfriend to go too. hmm..i wonder what work she was doing.
