Cosibella had stepped Jasha up from vegetarian to a strict vegan diet around last fall. This can be a very dangerous diet if you don't know what you are doing. After a period of time on a strict vegan diet you lose your blood stores of iron and vitamin B-12 and other imortant vitamins--it takes a while for the nutrient stores to be depleted--this leads to DEPRESSION--
You can not usually get enough of these vitamins from vegetable sources anymore--a lot of our soils are depleted--You would have to be taking a supplement to get enough--some poeple don't absorb the suppliments right or get sick and get depleted--even if you ate a bushel of spinach a day it would not be enough to get all the viatmins you need to keep your mood elevated. Very dangerous. I hope Cosibella knew what she was doing on that vegan diet.
So it may be a suicide:
1. Brain depleted of enough nutrients to keep the mood elevated from depression from overly strict vegan diet and not eating. Causes depression
2. Living in a home with a step-dad who thinks he's "God", is over controlling and basically deranged.
3. Stresses from perfection in school
4. Just being a 15-year-old teenager today is hard enough
5. Possible past abuse.
This may have been enough to push him over the edge.

I believe there was a knife found at the scene, but I cannot confirm that. As far as the photos from the crime scene, I believe that is public information. However, if they are keeping the case open they may not release them. No harm in trying.........

jnc or others--do we as the public have access to the informationa at the morgue? Can't we see the pictures of Jasha and the lab reports? When I called the morgue they are blocking that information from me.

When they ask for the "coroner number" or "case number", tell them you don't have that, but you have a date of death, a name, and if you have the date of birth, that would be a good thing. Do you think that the investigator is minimizing the situation? He is just positive it is a suicide. He says he is certain. Do you think he is right?
