Police: 12-year-old Intentionally Shoots Girl with BB Gun

In SC its all about "lets protect our kids"- police are saying he now meant to shoot the girl- I thought kids under 16 years of age can't make decisions alone or is that just with sex. If they are going to label kids as stupid then leave this 12 year old alone. Let him continue his destructive lifestyle.

I agree, we are in the south and I think that it is ok to have a BB Gun at this age or before. The parents need to know that their child, know how to handle having a BB Gun and should know wrong from right. Wrong is pointing a gun No Matter if it is a Play Gun, BB Gun, or any other kind of gun. You only point a gun at something that you want dead.

What is the statute of limitations on this crime? I need to get my cousin prosecuted for shooting me in the leg with a BB gun 15 years ago.

My prayers are with this little girl and her family. A friend of mines little boy was shot in the eye with a bb gun and lost his sight. I hope they can save the childs vision. I know what she's going through. Children can be soo cruel.

Thank you!!! A child doesn't know color. They learn it from others and that is so sad to me.

A friend of mine's grand daughter was accidentally shot in the eye with a bb gun. The g. d. now has a glass eye.
