J H Churchill selling/sold

Heard a rumor that JH Churchill Funeral Home has sold or is selling.

If the Imes people are buying it I'm gonna die somewhere else.

That's why they're called rumors and not facts...Maybe you should try starting a few more rumors

In some Iron Age cultures in Europe, one way to honor a dead warrior was to dig a hole and place the body inside with his weapons, jewelry, prizes of war and gifts. Spears were then thrust into the chest, the number of which reflected the man's greatness. The spears were left and the hole filled, leaving the hafts visible above ground. They were then decorated with paint, banners and other things.

Either funeral home offer this option?

That.... that may be the most interesting thing I've ever read on topix.

I am pretty sure this is true. Some of the guys that work there are buying it.

He has been trying to sell out for a few years. No credible buyers are interested.

It sold. New owners are Mike Garland & Jeremy Grogan. I think they were pretty much running it anyways. Don't know about any of the other employees if they are staying or going. I know one guy that worked there sometime ago quit and had nothing good to say about it.

I thought I read in the newspaper that Garland was arrested and pled guilty to 4 or 5 charges.
Does the state or feds not regulate who owns funeral homes?

This is true I wish both well, the sell took awhile considering the amount of money involved. Even with deal done I heard Mr. Jones offered a million more than what Mike and Jeremy gave for it.

I'm disappointed. but guess it don't matter who buries you. I may go someplace else though, just in case it does matter.

Is it really too much to expect that a funeral home owner, teachers, etc. will not be a convicted criminal?

trust me. you'll be dead. you won't know what's going on because you'll be dead.

People are dying to get in there!

doesn't really matter. What other choose do we have. The others funeral homes in Murray are not a better choice
