The only good thing that would happen if Obama wins is that the country will be so fd up that it will be a long long time before we make the mistake of electing someone because of they way they sound giving a speech. He really doesnt know what he is doing. You can come back with all the arguments you want, but we are on the way down fast. Liberals are wanting everyone to be equal or in other words you are fine if you are middle class
or on welfare. So dont go be successful dont reach for the stars dont worry about getting left behind if you sit on your lazy ass because liberals will make sure everyone goes down to take care of you. Yea that sounds like a great place to live.

I am angered at the fact that people are so upset about people on welfare possibly being able to abuse the system ("welfare queens" and the like), but don't seem to mind "corporate welfare" (huge tax breaks, subsidies, lack of true accountability) in the US!

The middle class has been brainwashed to worry about the people beneath them, rather than the people above them!

Some people argue that these corporations provide jobs and other benefits. I wonder if these same people realize that corporations hoard money, whereas people on welfare immediately inject the money they receive right back into the economy.

Trickle down economics hasn't worked in 10+ years!

Our government would rather cut programs that help people to give the money to corporations that don't need it, don't recirculate it, and only use it on themselves!

We need to cut military spending, cut farm subsidies, tax churches, and get rid of corporate welfare!

Coming from a Libertarian, you all are so stupid!!! Do you not understand we cannot keep increasing debt to help all of these lazy soul broth as and lazy white trash?!?!? Make them get a job and not babysit!!! I am middle class working American and my check gets robbed for these lazy mofos and y'all cry about the rich paying more? You can't keep punching the rich for more and then cry foul when they go overseas? Y'all have created a society of mailbox check dependence. Great Job.
That's actually an oxymoron "Dumb Liberal" considering the definition of Liberal is the opposite of dumb... Conservative is the word that would be most associated with being dumb. Besides, judging by the way you spell you're one of those mailbox check dependents. And in reality a libertarian would be considered a liberal, so get your facts straight.

At least he is consistent. You could make a video of Romney where he is taking opposite stances on each issue.

If Republican policies are so right for the U.S., why are so many "red" states that vote mostly Republican so poor, rank near the bottom in education, and provide such low levels of average income?

We've had lower and lower taxes on the high income groups since 1980, interuped by Clintons four years of slightly higher rates (producing historic economic growth and actual surpluses), and except for the Clinton years, the result has been that the middle class is shrinking and the median income dropping since Clinton left office. All this while the poverty rolls swell and the very rich get much richer. There's only one logical outcome if it continues and it is going to be ugly for everyone inside the borders of the U.S.

Hey, moron, check your facts. National debt has increased more under Republican Presidents than Democrats.

Better question why are those red states not running in the red? And for the most part have lower unemployment then blue states?

Most all states are not allowed to run deficits. Instead, they cut services until they don't. And who said red states have lower unemployment than blue states?

In a addition to being bad economic policy, requiring a balanced budget at the federal level would mean that we would have to stop making war on brown people and cut the military down to some kind of rational level. You know, like to defend against another country who actually might attack us?

What should happen is surpluses in good economic times and deficits in recessions resulting in a balance over the long run. Again, that won't happen while we try to run an empire.

Here's a link to a map of unemployment by state. The correlation is more by region than by party, although the entire southeast (republican states) is in the bottom half of employment rates. Remember, you were the one who stated that red states had lower unemployment rates. That obviously isn't true.

Because they receive more in Federal tax dollars than they send up?
