I'm sure this is going to attract a bunch of crap, but does anyone know why Mediacom internet has been out for almost 24 hours? All I get is a recording and it won't let me talk to anyone. It's like they have just turned their phones off.

I've been trying to get someone to tell me something for an entire day but all I get is a recording saying they are having trouble. Now I'm not even getting that message, it just says they have reached their capacity and tells me to call back. Would be nice to at least have a message that told their customers what's going on other than we are having trouble.

fiber optic cable was cut last nite around 8..they have been trying to fix the problem all day...not sure where the cut was, but it is being fixed...

I was stating that MES isn't available in the Mediacom area. But yeah, it's speed puts MES to shame.

What is the use of having good speed if it never works? I had rather have a tad bit slower speed but be able to use the internet 24/7.

If someone has Mediacom, it means they're not in town, and don't have MES or newwave as an option.

It was a fiber-optic cable. It's a shame that we're stuck with Mediacom because I'm tired of the nonstop outages. But the speed blows everyone elses out of the water in this area. It's a catch 22.
