we need a skate park

so we need a skate park or something for the kids to do here . There is nothing here to do , what can be done ? this could be why we have drugs and abandoned children here .

Maybe you need a teen town started by a church group.

A project like this would cost lots of money that no one is willing to off with. Churches can only do so much. I know our church tries to do thing for the kids in the form of youth group and action kids. I don't know what the other churches do.

Action kids girl scouts youth group are the only thing for these kids have to do. As for the children doing somthing, The baptist church Has A program for kids 5 and up that they can come to have fun and be in a safe enviroment. My children love it and so does some of the kids in desoto. If you need information please call the church we also pick up children.

:o) I know about action kids.. I am actually the teacher of the 5-8 year olds :o) I do wish there was more healthy fun for the kids that we don't have to worry about what the kids are doing outside the church.

there is also youth group for tha 7th through high school students

skateboarding is not for the devil. we need to be proud that some of the children are so talented. I do think we need something for these kids to do but that would only solve the problem for a few of the children. we need the arcade back a skate park maybe we could take it to the school and see what these kids need and want. as for my post about action kids we are trying had to get these kids involved in something.

first off there are more than two kids tht no how to skate and second if the kids had somethin to skate on and they would get better and little kids like to play on the ramps so suck it and die

this gos out to the people who dont want us to skate. first off if we get a skate park in this town then we wouldnt be bored second if we get a skate park here then more kids would learn to skate or get better if they already know how but i started at a young age and now a days parents get their kids wal-mart boards that are worthless dude cut the crap reach in your pocket and get your kids a board that dosent suck. and if we get a skate park then we wouldnt get in so much truble u all know this town isnt worth a gram cracker. we need something to do instead of rellying on other towns for everything think about it the best thing for us is getting into trouble. so re think the skate park thing. and for the record ther is nothing in the bible about skateboarding i dont think they had skateboardes when the bible was being written. so dont push your own beleifes on us cuz cousin i am a very religous person and i love to skate but i also love church and youth group.

hey yeah this is getting so stupid i think we do not need a skate park in this town we would be wasting to much money on a stupid skate park we could use that money to fix up this town...

A skate park would be GREAT. Let kids be kids and enjoy their talents. Give kids a chance to learn a new healthy hobby. Life is wonderful and it's what you make of it. I would enjoy watching my little ones show off their skate moves and learn new ones. Think of your kids and what's best for them, not your own bias selfish selves. Have a GREAT evening all!!

Why don't you kids take this to the board and talk to them about maybe you and your friends raising the money. It may take awhile but this town doesn't have the funds. As for Luv my kids comment. were not being bias or selfish, It true not a lot of kids know how to skate. My son loves being on a skate board, but the fact Is not a lot of kids are as gifted on a board. Good luck
