My friend of about 48 years went to heaven October 21, at about 1:30 local time. Charles and I flew B-47 SAC bombers out of Lincoln AFB, NE. He was in the 307th Bomb Wing and I was in the 98th Bomb Wing. We shared a duplex in Lincon. He elected to leave the Air Force for Arkansas and served his Lord and community for many years in the Little Rock area. He was my son's Sunday School teacher and we kept in loose contact over the years, even though I continued in the military. After being widowed, God blessed him with another wonderful family. I will miss him but hope to see him before too long. Joan and Missy, our prayers are with you.
