Who is running for sheriff?

Has anyone else heard that William Tweedy is thinkin about runnin for sheriff?

complete waste of time and money,for one thing noone can stand any of the tweedys and second boston is the strongest democrat in office next to keith riordan(sp).the slate of democrat incumbitts is strong in hart co.in other words they cant be beat unless one of them messes up really bad,and that aint happenin anytime soon.anyone thinking about running for any office held by a democrat in hart co is just wasting their time and money,you cant beat the party,hell you can spend 50,000 and still not win if the party doesnt back you.trust me i know all about this.

someone should run for county clerk. lisa hensely messed up the 2006 election pretty bad a circuit court judge in hart co said so and its on record

I bet the Innkeeper had a part in one of the races where they got so few of votes that they are still ashamed. Don't run for office if you have thin skin.....

tell ya what,go ahead and run against her,you will lose.lisa is well liked by all.she has been there for several yrs now and she carries each election by what 85%to 90% of the vote,thats unbeatable my friend,she is a strong incumbant,when you run against an incumbant,you start off at least 800to1000 votes behind the minute you sign up to run for office.thats the way it is.you can spend 50,000 or more money and still not win the office you are running for if the party doesnt back you.the only office in the county that anybody had a chance to win in the last election was the judge executive's office.terry martin had rick alvey runnin against him and the democrats backed martin because alvey is not well liked around here like he thinks he is.had a democrat ran against him that had any name to them at all the party would have got behind them and put them in office.the only reason martin won is because noone else worth a crap ran agianst him.tell ya what had david williams run for judge executive instead of circuit court clerk he would have won that race big time,the party would have backed him in a heartbeat.now martin has done a pretty good job since he has been in there and now he would be hard to beat.so in other words if anybody is thinkin about running for any of the county offices besides magistrates,dont,you are just wasting your time and money.

Anyone ever thought maybe we should find someone who no longer lives here but is in law enforcement to come home and run? Just a thought.

no didn`t have a part in it but i did have a seat for the court apperances all 3 canidates attended and the judge clearly stated election laws had been broken.your comment makes me wonder if you are a school teacher do you teach students it doesn`t matter how you get to your goal in life the right way or the wrong way so long as the end result is in your favor?

did you know his wife no surprise he cheated on her she is crazy he couldn't take a piss without her demanding details. best thing that happened to him was when he finally got rid of her. he tried for years but she never would get the hint

Here's some food for thought, You are correct in that democrat's are very strong, however, you are incorrect to think they are backing Boston. Furthermore, William Tweedy is a democrat and NEVER lost an election running as constable. One of the district's as constable also included one the largest, if not the largest precinct of voters, Memorial (Hardyville). There must be several people that like William Tweedy for that to happen.

As for Keith, I wouldn't put Keith down by even putting his a Boston's name in the same sentence. Keith is a strong democrat and yes will have the jailers position as long as he wants it. I think maybe he should even run for sheriff this time.

As far as messing up, Boston already has, he can't get along with anybody and quite frankly everyone is tired of his complaining and baby ways. We need someone who will work with other departments instead of wasting time and the tax payers money fighting among other law enforcement departments. If he spent half his energy on law enforcement activities as he does on trying to back stab other departments, there wouldn't be any crime in Hart county.

Big, Big difference between being a constaple and Sheriff. Do you honestly think Tweet is smart enough to handle and manage a budget. If you do than you better think again. Ill take a retired trooper, college grad any day over Tweet. Besides I wouldnt even trust him with money, not to mention anything else.

I'd vote for Tweedy! He's a pretty good fella.
