Since the news came out about the church in Eastern Kentucky, how would your church compare?

I believe no man or woman should be treated differently than anyone else. EVERYONE should be welcome to go to church. we are no ones judge.

I do as well but there are many churches in our area where this would not be allowed. they would give such a cold shoulder to people in this situation they would not feel welcome. Most likely the preacher would slide it into the sermon and embarass them on top of being cold. Any United Baptist church would most likely be this way.

We are entering 2012 and some churches are just now becoming segregated?!!!!!!!!! Isn't that a pretty good indicator that MAN not God's word was being taught? There should had never been a race division in God's house. This makes it even easier to spot those who have the truth from those who don't. The ones truly serving God have always served him with many different races side by side. Their brothers and sisters in the faith would make up all races. That is where I will look for God.

Who cares? Religion is stupid anyway and churches are nothing but an occult. It probably would be looked down upon in almost any church around here because people here are ignorant inbred racist assholes and churches are a manifestation of congregations ignorances. And yeah, Pastor Bubba Dumbass would probably make a sermon about how it's immoral and God doesn't like it. As if he has a special connection to "the lord".

I am not shocked at these two responses above. The natural man does not care for the things of God. They are dead in their sins and it will take a divine encounter to bring them to life. These are good examples for the rest of us. Here is what condemnation looks like. They will one day bow a knee and confess Jesus as Lord but not until it is too late and God pours his wrath out on them. I am proud to say that we have several interracial couples in our church and as far as I know they have been accepted.

Just wondering if there were any christians out there who would be against it. I would love to see how that would be defended with scripture.

All would and are welcome at our church. I would NOT attend any church who judged people based on the color of their skin. There are unfortunately a lot of good old boy type BIGOTS in KY :(

I think it has alot of man made things to do with a woman wearing pants..it would be ashame it someone came in a church and they were lost and headed for hell and someone ask them to leave..that person would have there feeling hurt and may never go back to church again and who are you and me to tell people what they can wear this day and age I would rather see a woman in pants than her boobs hanging out..its not the appreal that a person wears it what is on the inside thats matters,,I have friends that wears dresses all the time and you no something they are as dirty as they can be on the inside..so what would you rather have a bunch of woman sitting in the church trying to be something there not just because the don't wear pants or would you rather have a woman that wear dresses to church and pants when she gets home and can get ahold of god and can pray

I think a lot of people have been hurt by men in churches. Alot of time it is about control and one family running the church. I really have a hang up with the United Baptist crowd and their doctrine. I am praying for my heart to be softened up but its tough. They are so ignorant of scripture.

You cannot hold back from others what doesn't belong to you. God's word was freely given unto you and so you must freely give it unto others. You cannot profess the word of God and in his name and then put yourself above God by making the judgement who is deserving of his word and who isn't. That power does not belong to man. YOUR church and everything else on earth man has built, God graciously allows to be built. I do know what building I don't want to be standing in when the end comes.........
