I don't know Clay. I'm not a big fan of country music. However, I don't begrudge a man's right to pursue a dream. I would wish him well, and if he does ever become famous, I hope he remembers that there are some decent people in this area who had wished him well him throughout the years.

Clay is a very talented man. Believe me, anything negative only pushes him harder to succeed in the music industry. Some day these jealous people will eat their word's. Some have it and some dont. Clay most definatly does! Keep doing what you do Clay! Dont let anything stop you. Not even a few dreamstealer's. God Bless.

It's clear that "Delusions of Grandeur" has no idea what he/she is talking about and needs to find something better to do with his/her time rather than give an opinion on something that makes them look ignorant. Clay has a wonderful family and loves his kids very much. He has been on the radio Einstein and success is not judged by being on television. Do yourself a favor Delusions and just never talk again ever. At least that way, your ignorance is kept kinda quiet and you won't embarrass yourself.

First of all, I know Clay and his family very well. The only radio he has been on is local radio. He's not being played nationally. His performances take place in bars, casinos, local festivals. He is not playing major arenas. He spends most of his time away from his wife and kids, playing these small gigs. Everything that I'm saying is true. Like I said, I know the family personally. I didn't say that he didn't love his family. I'm sure he does. But he is basically missing out on watching his kids grow up because he is pursuing a dream that is not panning out.

And another thing, if he is so successful, why did him and his wife lose their house and have to move into his parents double wide trailer?

I think he sucks. Just like all of the other country music singers. I mean there are two rock stations that come in clear here and they play mostly southern rock that sounds somewhat like country. I can take only so much ZZ Top, Skynyrd, and OMG I want to shoot myself by the time a George Thoroughgood song is over. It's like 15 minutes of hell. I can pick up about 20 country stations though. Like we really need another country music star sporting the tight pants, the multi colored (Garth Brooks) t shirts, and the big belt buckles with a bull head on them. Do they still wear bolo ties? Not to mention that nasal sounding voice. Country music is terrible. When I was little I literally would stick my fingers in my ears and scream when I was forced to listen to that crap. You guys actually consider that music? I can write a country music song right now. My dawg died n my ford truck won't start I got two dollars in my pocket and my girl stole my heart I'm gonna go down to the honky tonk and get myself uh beer Because I went out today with my 22 an didn't shoot me uh deer And people say country music singers are talented LMFAO.

But he is basically missing out on watching his kids grow up because he is pursuing a dream that is not panning out. Exactly. He's not even a big music star. People just think he's big here because to them if you are on tv or in the newspaper you are famous. I mean look at that local girl on WBKO that everyone thinks is so "famous" just because she has her mug on the local TV station. lmfao. If anyone on that station is famous it'd be Chris Allen since he was on VH1's Best Week ever because he got caught on camera tweaking and licking nipples while making a "toot toot and honk honk" noise on the green screen during a break on their breast cancer awareness show. I have a new appreciation of the man now. Chris Allen is THE MAN! It's cool to support local musicians. Absolutely. But I mean seriously people get real. He's NOT famous. He's NOT the sh*t. And there's a whole lot of people who are better country artists than he is. Although I feel they all suck..some suck less than others. He played at the Heritage festival. It was basically a free gig. Not sure if the bands were paid money for their time but obviously everyone knows there's no charge to see them play. I would consider that free. Now no one who has any clout is going to play a free gig..unless it's for charity. Then they choose old washed up bands no one gives a crap about like U2 or Selene Dion. Bottom line..he's NOT what you guys are making him out to be.
