No drugs hospital test were negative Illcrime lab test that were presented I guess the state did'nt expect the defence to look at there was no impairing drugs thier either<supprised so far thers a lot more the state knew it 2 years ago when the couldent find even the least qualified expert to testfy that this kid was high while the defence hired adoctor with several masters in pharmacoligy that said that it was rediculess you cant be high if theres no thc to get you high.More to come

How is it that a 16 year old boy can be charged with using an incline to make his car become airborn when the deputy the lead investigator under direct examination by both the state and the defence testified that the car in fact did not leave the ground and did NOT get air this charge carried 3 to 14 years in prison and to top it all off the deputy addmitted he knew this prior to prosecution and informed the prosecution via the accedent report.I wounder if this information withheld by the media and state from the parents of did'nt have an effect on the parents of all the boys.

I live near the where the accident happened. I drove right pass right after accident that night. its bad to lose anyone to something like this but everyone there had a choose to be in that car or not. When I was teenage I drove that same rd I don't know how many times drunk or stoned. That is a bad crossing there and even worse from rail road rasing tracks.

I knew the Buenos and I am friends with Jason's little brother and personally, I really do not think that the consequences were that great judically, but I think that everyone needs to keep in mind that this young man has to live with himself knowing that he killed two of his friends. I think that is a hell of a punishment and I'm sure that his life in his eyes is over. Although he is still alive, his soul is dead. I am very sorry that this event even happened. It goes to show that this really could happen to anyone and I hope that it gets the point through to everyone that they need to really thoroughly evaluate their decisions. It's just highly unfortunate that this is what it takes for teens to comprehend what to do and what not to do. I miss both of the boys and pray for them. My regards go out to both families and every time November 13th comes around, we will all remember these boys. I love them both and everyone please pray for them and the boy on probation.
Jesus once said, "Let the one without sin cast the first stone."
Point being, everyone makes mistakes and being able to forgive is not always an option, but remember that everyone sins.
Peace be with everyone.

I completely agree with "family." There is nothing that will bring them back. Let the dead rest in peace and everyone one here has their own opinion and I'm sure that not everyone will come to one conclusion about the decisions that have been made so I think that we should all be respectful towards eachother because the way that you respond reflects you as a person and represents the boys. The decision has been made and it is a done deal. Nothing can be done about that and I don't think that anyone here knows exactly what happened that night because they were not there and don't know what was in the boys systems considering that they did not themselves examine the bodies and any information regarding that is not legally allowed to be released while the case is pending. So everyone needs to relax and stop pointing fingers. I love both of these boys dearly and i miss them more and more everyday. It's hard, really hard. Fighting and arguing will do nothing. Be smarter than that and use all this energy towards the boys and helping their families.

Pain, you dont know pain, yes this family has to live with this burden. But this family still has a son while the other two families have lost their sons. So the pain will ease for drivers family and they will go on. Will the families that lost theirs sons pain go away - NEVER
Ricky has to live with this for the rest of his life. He has to go on knowing he killed his best friends.
If izzy was driving, if jason was driving..would you say the same thing?

By the way, i went to school with all of these boys. Ricky and Jason used to play video games with my dad everyday during the summer.

I miss Jason like crazy. And i dont have any remorse for Ricky know. But i do understand

And i wont forget being in school, In the hallways,in the same class that izzy was supposed to be in wondering why it had to happen.

But it did.

Friend, you can't possibly be a friend because he was not high on drugs or drunk use some common sense if the state had evidence that he was, expecialy after all the trouble he had after the accident they would have nailed this kid to the cross

Tom,the kid had 0 alcohol in his system they were chaging him because they thought that the fact they found small ammounts of THC in his system that according to the state was injested 24 hours earlier may have affected his driving. And the white kid thing just shows you have some resentments twards white people and for that I'm sorry but it was in fact people like you who were responcible for those kids at duke enduring a years worth of pain lies and well you know the rest,
