I know there are plenty of people out there in this so little nice town of Muncie, but come on where is our spirit of faith. My heart goes out to the beaty family and as an employee of the transit system and have worked with Jamie's mother and Mr. Barton I am sure they are both fine people, however I feel like some of the other reader's and have wondered from day one why isn't the boyfriend being questioned more than what he has been.

As one writer stated maybe this was the right time and motive for him to get rid of her, Sorry to say. I do know Mr. Barton very well and no I don't agree that he should have been driving while he had a few drinks but if you do recall he was under the limit of the BAC, He was not driving a company car, He was on his own time,
He did call for help and I know that not only is the Beaty family suffering but he has gone through some suffering also.

So let's all put our money where our mouth is and not point any finger's as to who was right or who was wrong until proven guilty....

He could have stopped. The other guy has already served almost two years. Naturally Barton hopes to get off scot free, and he probally will from what I know of the justice system in Muncie. This was just a terrible accident and bad choices were made and trust me there will be no justice from our legal system.
