I think 12 hours sucks. There has been some talk on my shift(d) that a,b shifts are going to get shafted on the memorial day weekend. To be fair a,b shifts should get sat.,sun., off. Luckily, c,d shift will be off this weekend:D

A,B shifts are gonna get screwed on memorial day weekend. Word is they're gonna have to work saturday.(after 2 months of not working saturday...hmmm) If they have to work past friday that would be bogus and foul on the part of the office people. Luckily c,d gets all weekend and monday off.:D :D :D

I just got word that (SB) from the office is going to make A-B shifts work Friday and Saturday. That is unfair and quite shitty. I agree with you "12 hours suk" if A-B shifts work past Friday that would be a slap in the face to those workers.

I'm on A shift. I guess I'll find out tomorrow (Friday) about Sat. &/or Sun. I HATE the 12 hour shifts also. Not looking forward to working for Dwayne R. either. I guess we are losing most, if not all temps next week???

ALL temps are gone as of Tuesday the 27th. A & B shift are working the last 12 freakin' hour shift SATURDAY, MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. Who is making all these dumba$$ descisions?
The D shift supervisor, Brown, was canned at the end of his shift this morning, Friday the 23rd.
And the hits just keep on commin'!
So I guess we won't be putting up with ol' Dwayne Rogers after all! Trenr White will be doing double duty, office and shop floor.

Hi, Ryan! It would be my guess at this present time, no, they aren't hiring. We lost all ofthe temps as of this weekend. When/ if you get to town, register for work at the work one center on Charles street downtown and at Staffmark on McGalliard. I got on thru Staffmark. Goodluck and shoot me an e-mail. Clicl on my user name forthe address.

The people who are making these descisions are the people who don't have to do grunt work....FRONT OFFICE!! They got the WHOLE weekend off, including MEMORIAL DAY!! Third shift has to work Monday night. WOW!! Thanks alot stephen for letting them people NOT enjoy the holiday! What an inconsiderate jackass.

Will Trent actually be supervising? I remember when we were working 6-7 days a week he would sometimes "supervise" on Saturday or Sunday. He'd be there for the first hour or two then he would leave and come back around the end of shift. They paid him for that. Talk about a waste of money....

Doug Hutchinson told us Trent will split his time between the office and shop floor. What was meant by split, I don't know.
I can say, I for one am glad the 12 hour shifts are over. Those damn near killed this old man. I am in awe of the B & D people! I couldn't imagine working those goofy hours. I also resent the idea that when we were cut back to 36 hour weeks, we had to work every other Sunday. It wasn't so bad when every other week was 48 hours, but it has made me bitter towards the descision makers. There are many who resent the way the American axle strike and it's effects were handled by MPT- Muncie. I am really looking hard for something else. I would bet my next unemployment check I'm not the only one! Happy Memorial day everyone!

They should give us at least a week or two off. Some places are going to be off the entire month of July. Would'nt that be nice?

Damn Right! Its gonna be hotter than shit in there too during July. I'd rather spend a hot day fishing, than a hot day working.

Well, if that's the case then we'll be working very little then. I wonder if they're going to tell us this?

Daily Horoscope for December 1

Gemini

Spend the morning recharging your spiritual batteries and prepare for the coming Full Moon in your sign. Listen to your favourite music, surround yourself with your things and let confrontations and business dealings wait until you are ready. The Moon enters Gemini later today, so things will take on a much rosier hue.
