Are you guys STILL at it??? I've been reading this thread off and on now, for what seems like an eternity! Seriously, folks, isn't there ANYTHING more pertinent to today's state of this planet... other than what color panties Ethel is wearing or who smoked a joint on what street, or if Amy's house meets ONE person's lofty, better-than-everybody else's standards? It was sort of cutesy [in a reprehensible way] for a while. But now it's redundancy [GO spellchecker on that one!]to the nnnth power!!! Granted, some of the snide quips and fellow neighbor bashing can be amusing... but when you get down to the DIRTY NITTY GRITTY... it's just plain old mean!...
In the words of Linda Richmond... topic...what can we do NOT to scare off people who are thinking about moving to Mullens!!! Discuss among yourselves...... Don't you think Mullens could USE some new life and CHILDREN to keep what used to be and still is on most levels... a marvelous little town to live in and raise a family ?????

Well.....I was accused of being an entity once back in 1953, but in 1954 I won the world scrabble championships and showed those people I was no entity. Why can't we use this site for the Good things about Mullens and West Virginia instead of bashing them and gossiping? I know that's asking a lot with an open forum, but it is definitely a good thought... imagine that.

Has anyone noticed the extra Ethels we have now. I dont know about you but i think Ethel #2 was by far the funniest. The new ones arent funny at all.
