Who's the best candidate for this country?
Hillary? She's been living in either the white house or governor's mansion for 20 years, made over 100M and claims to be in touch w/ the common person. She also said non-college educated White people are who she's counting on which she plans to crap on again in the white house. Not to mention she talks about a 3am phone call and who you want to answer it when she can't remember a recent trip to Bosnia because "she was tired"!
McCain? A 71 year old man w/ a monster temper, who's rich wife has something to hide w/ her tax returns, who had the forethought to create election laws which allowed him to fly around in her corporate jet, who also has aligned himself squarely w/ idiot Bush over the last 12 months in order to win the nomination. Not to mention, this guy is losing his marbles. I think he believes Obama is related to Hamas. His wife said McCain won't use negative tactics and then he used them less than 12 hours later!
Obama? The picture of the American dream, who's been indicted by a bunch of people who live by the guilty by association motto. Obama also refused to endorse a gimmick gas tax because he knew it wouldn't ultimately help anyone, especially the working class! He also wants to work on strengthening our military by getting us out of a BS war in Iraq where we're drowning in debt and we're severely overstretched.
Draw your own conclusions...
Very well put!! People are so caught up in "he said, she said, they said", that they don't read and make informed decisions for themselves.

How can you say Hillary has no moral dignity because of the conduct of her husband?
I thought that was out in left field too. Women are judged by their husbands, no morals of their own.

HILLARY ALL THE WAY TO THE CONVENTION. Don't let the media stop your vote.

Hillary ain't gonna make it...face it. Once she lost NC, her goose was cooked. Any other canidate would have conceded, but she cares so much for the Democratic party, she's going to go the last mile and let everyone see what an idiot she is. Even her advisors are puzzled.

How can Obama relate to the "common man"? He attended very expensive private schools from 5th grade through law school.

IF you want to hear why I'd vote for Obama, he KNOWS what it's like to be the "common man", and he genuinely wants to help the people. Hillary was put in charge of coming up with a plan for health insurance for everyone, she failed miserably. Why would she be any different at running the country. IMO, she'd put us in a worse shape than we are now, and that's pretty bad. McCain didn't make any footsteps, he follows Bush, so we'd still be in the same shape we are now, still not good. Obama is fresh, he has good ideas. WHY should all the textile places be shut down here and we ship all the work that used to be done here to Mexico and other countries whose population will work for much less than wages paid here. The places that have ownership in the US should produce their goods here so the American people can keep their jobs. That's one of the things Obama wants to see happen. The war in Iraq was started because Bush wanted to carry on what his daddy started and couldn't or wouldn't finish. Why should our military be put at risk for such a reason as that. Don't get me wrong, I support our Troops, I just don't support the people who are keeping them there. So...that's why I say Obama is the best man for the job.
Thank you, Thank You, God Bless you and God Bless America!

Watch what happens. I bet we get both of them.
Obama knows he doesn't have a chance in WV. See who ends up being his running mate.

Sure, he knows already he won't take WV, unless a miracle happens, I happen to think your canidate is an idiot, and Obama has already passed her in delegates, and the superdelegates are leaning to his side. I don't think those two will ever join forces,#1 Those who support Obama do not support Hillary and #2 He'd be crazy if he joined forces with her! She needs to go ahead and concede so the delegates can align themselves with him and stop gumming up the works for any chance a democrat has of being elected. Not that I think it'll happen. If I were betting on the race, I'd have to put my money on McCain, I hate it, but the democrats messed up when the powers that be let it go this far with Hillary and Obama. Now be nice, little sister, and listen to what your big sister says! <grin>
I love you, no matter who you vote for, but don't be surprised to get a phone call in Nov., saying I told you so!!! lol

As far as the war goes anyone with common sense knows that no matter who becomes the president we will not be pulling out. We can't do it and we won't do it. To much at stake. Clinton took us into bosnia . Have we pulled out yet? don't think so.
We may not like the war but it would be suicide to pull out and you can garuntee millions would die if we did.
The dems say pull out because its what people want to hear. But even they know its not going to happen. They are good at telling the uneducated and stupid what they want to hear.

Personally I think Bush made the mistake of going to war with Iraq. We should be in Iran right now and overthrowing the real extemist idiots.

This is true but lots of talk from the democratic comitte telling Obama he has to choose her as a running mate if she wants it or they will no elect him this summer. Without her he doesn't stand a chance of beating McCain and the Dem commitee knows this.

But lets not rule out the rumors of Gore not jumping in either. A small chance the Democratic commitee will chose him over both these canidates and a better chance he runs as an Independant. When they put his name in the polls he leads all other canidates by over 45 percent. He can stay out untill this summer and come in fresh and his nose clean while the others are battered to death.

They Dems would not be in this mess if their elections where ran like the republicans. Make it winner take all in these contest and problem is solved.

Why do you fault him for backing the one he thinks will be the best canidate? He has the same right to his opinion as you do. And remember, too, he and his family have been involved in politics for years and years, you think he doesn't know what he's doing? I don't think he's angling for a cabinet position, I think he's doing what he thinks is best for the people of WV, and the country. If his voicing his opinion reduces your respect for him, you didn't have much to begin with, he has done a lot for WV...I don't think that's going to stop.
Super delegate should vote they way their state does. If not then it shows they do not support the people they took an oath to serve. It is a form of treason and should be punished by being taken out of office immediatly and not with the next election. Call it no Faith if you want

He has a right to vote for he he wants to on Tuesday the saem as us. But when the state picks a canidate he should out of respect vote the same way.

Haven't you learned to believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you say? IF you know nothing but what you hear about something, look it up before you post, OBAMA USED HIS BIBLE!
An anonymous e-mail says Barack Obama took the oath of office for the U.S. Senate on a Koran, the holy book of Islam. It was thought it would be odd if that were true, since Obama is a Christian. In fact, it IS wrong.
The e-mail also spells the book's name "Kuran," though usually it is spelled Koran or Quran.
Two press reports from Obama's swearing-in ceremony in January 2005 mention specifically that Obama took the oath of office by placing his hand on his own copy of the Bible. The Barack Obama campaign also confirmed that it was a Bible and that the book belonged to Obama. Vice President Dick Cheney, in his role as president of the Senate, administered the oath.
After being raised outside of any particular faith tradition, Obama became a Christian in his mid 20s and is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.(Obama gave what are arguably his most extended remarks on his faith at the "Call to Renewal" religious conference in 2006; Google the speech and read it.
It's suspected this false claim was inspired by the 2007 swearing-in of Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., an American convert to Islam and the first Muslim elected to Congress. Ellison used a Koran that once belonged to Thomas Jefferson, borrowing the rare book from the Library of Congress.
It goes without saying that Ellison is not Obama. And with its intent to inflame, it was found the e-mail's allegation was false.
Keep on posting things you don't know, if this site is monitored by Obama supporters and you continue to make such allegations, you just might find yourself in court trying to answer a libel charge. So, get off this site making false accusations and go to Google, you'll find out a lot of things you THOUGHT were truth, to be a lie, put out, probably, by the Clinton campaign.
Very good information and very true but let me point out one fact. Obama's bible is not the same as most bibles. That church has 11 commandments and not 10. And those along with their church dontrine is ver racist and even brutal towards whites and other races.
He is not a Muslim and honestly his church is even more radical than some of the muslim goups out there. It could be bad times for us except the things he would like done would never pass congress.

Clinton got us into Bosnia which strengthened the Islamic extremists hand by weakening the socialistic Serbs.

Bush got us into Iraq which strengthened the Islamic extremists by overthrowing the socialistic Saddam.

We were not attacked by Serbia or Iraq BUT we have been invaded by RASCIST MEXICO. Its time to get our troops out of Bosnia and Iraq and put them on the Mexican border.

PS. For the record The International Court at the Hague ruled 13-2 that there was no genocide taking place in Bosnia so the Blair/Clinton rational was as phoney as Bush going into Iraq.

Personally, I don't think an Obama/Clinton ticket would make it, and I think Gore would be setting himself up for the same thing to happen that happened when Jr. got in in the first place. We had just gotten Clinton out, and, although Gore might be a good person, I don't think he's president material. My personal belief, and I could be wrong, is that people are so fed up with the way the democrats have behaved during this campaign, that they majority, even die hard Democrats, will go with McCain. But, on the other hand, In my 57 years, at least the ones I remember elections, I've seen many surprises, when the conventions come around, the delegates have an opportunity to choose whomever they want, they may put someone totally unexpected on the ballot, McCain hasn't been named as the canidate yet, sooo, it's wait and see, at this point.

I would expect that if Obama has the Holy Bible, it has the normal 10 Commandments. However, as far as his church...he has been a member there for a long time, did he attend the whole time? I doubt it, since he has been involved in politics.
People change, even ministers, and this one may have changed, we didn't hear anything about him until Obama joined the race for president. How many times have you read about Rev so and so absconding with all the church funds and the church secretary, or piano player? A minister I sat under for many years, and saw the power of God in his life, became a widower, he remarried. Fine. But his wife left him, and he married again. Some may not see the parallel here, but this minister had ALWAYS preached that a pastor could only be the husband of one wife, and if he was divorced, in God's eyes, he had two living wives. He's a good man, but I sure wouldn't sit under him as the leader of a church, again. Obama should only be judged by his behaviour, the Rev.Wright, for his. Because you can be sure that God isn't holding Obama responsible for Rev Wright. Everyone keeps saying Obama used the Koran, won't salute the flag, or wear a flag pin, for pete's sake, the man is running under the red, white, and blue. Muslims have the right to worship as they choose, do you, honestly, see the people of this country, at present, putting a Muslim into office? I don't think so.
