Seriously, I really want to know because I'm tired of working for you son of a bitches that take it for granted. Because I have to go to work everyday in 24 inches of coal, lay on my belly in the mud, eat dust, killing myself, and the other coal miners. Just so you bastards can get on here and bitch, piss, and moan. Because something isn't going your way. When you don't realize the shit I have to go through just so you call turn on your computer, and the rest of you city slickers can go to an air conditioned office and sit on your ass all day. Or sit at home and take care of your 27 kids while I pay for your welfare. Why don't you get off your ass and get a real job like a coalminer and see what a working man has to go through so you can get fat and eat twinkies, and masturbate infront of your computer.

I have an idea... How about you get out of the mines. The money is awesome but you have to look at what you want more in life. Walmart pays ok and it is safe. I know you may not be able to put that chrome coalminer sticker on your back window or new mud tires on the truck but its a living. You may be able to get food stamps and welfare and still work in the mines there are a lot of them that do now. I dont see why everyone bitches about food stamps and welfare it was created for a reason and the goverment will sure as hell tax what you make and what you buy so why not get it when they offer it. I will say this as far as SSI or disability you should be happy your are able to get out everyday and do what you like because they day may come where you cant work and have to live off of $600 a month.

if all the miners got out of the mine..just an observation..then you would have no power. I'm grateful for the hard working miners..takes a special breed of person to crawl in those black holes to provide a good life for their families.
And seriously..you know that alot of people in this area abuse the system..and if you don't think so they you need to open your eyes! I understand that sometimes you need a little help..but for those thats never worked and going to the dr's and say they can work because of their then how do you know that you can't work if you've never even tried? I know alot of people that do this. The system needs redone and their needs to be stricter guidlines for getting assistance...I personally don't like to work just so people on drugs and welfare abusers can get a check..

Sorry true but Ive worked for Walmart and it is NOT a living. Its an honest living and a decent job but theres no way a family can live on what they pay alone. It was a few years ago but when i worked at walmart (full time too) it wasnt much more than 600.00 a month.

I heard the mayor say that and I just find that hard to believe that a 4 wheeler trail will bring enough tourism money to replace the coal money here! I will have to see that to believe it. **Note** I am not busting on the trail, im glad to see whatever new life can come in here! lol

It would be very easy to make a robot to place you. You just cost less. I do respect yall for being able to do what you do but we all have a place in life and the smallest jobs affect everyone.

my daddy worked in the coal mines forever...so anyone talking junk about miners...you can straight to H#ll!!!!...but as far as the comments about people sitting on their ass at a desk..those jobs may not be as physically draining as the mines...but they are mentally draining and you take the problems home with you!!...but anyways any body that works for a living to raise their family, is not a 'pill head', is fine by me!!!!!!!...welfare is intended to help people in hard times, like when miners get laid off....NOT TO LIVE ON!!!!...GET A JOB!!!!

Hell, just get a job at a union mine, it's better than SSI... you don't have to work, you get to sleep on the job, and they can't fire you... And, be glad for those people in the air conditioned offices, they're the ones that sell the stuff that keeps you working...

For one thing. Those office jobs are mentally draining, and there are so many people around here that take advantage of the welfare. It's not right that my tax dollars have been spent to send how many different people to the doctor? But I can't go myself because I have no insurance. If you're "beating the system" May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your crotch and may your arms be too short to scratch! AMEN!!! Lazy ass bastards. Get a job!! I hope and pray to God that you get everything you deserve. I've worked since I was 17 years old and now it's time for you to do your part. Get off your butt and take care of me. Get off your but and crawl in that dark tunnel. Actually take pride in earning a living rather than getting it handed to you. If you are on welfare and you can afford a computer and internet than it's time for you stop stealing our tax dollars and do something for yourself. I'm tired of my husbands job and our tax dollars being spent on porno so you can jack off infront of the computer or tv. Go screw yourselves and I hope you get ran over by the fucking short bus.

Another thing ... I hope it haunts your dreams every night that there are men risking their lives for you every single day. So you can get on here and talk shit about what they do and brag about cheating the government to get money that doesn't belong to you. We work for that money ... Why don't you? What are you doing with your life that is so fulfilling that you don't need a job? To make a difference. Do you seriously feel you have no purpose on this earth? Make your life worth something. Try a job for a while, wait for that first paycheck and you buy something you've really wanted ... see how fulfilling that is. To know you earned that money. You worked your ass off for that money. There is nothing like that. Nothing. It's something to be proud of.

It doesnt bother them...the ones who are "robbing the system" if it did they wouldnt have done it from the beginning. my husband is a coal miner too so i understand your frustration. There are always the people who want something for nothing!! and i agree ITS NOT FAIR!
