What about security cameras? Would homes, streets, schools, churches-- all- benefit from cameras?

I keep a stun gun in my pocket book at all times and by my bed at night we have other security too, guns etc. but I dont know if I could use a gun if I was by myself.

Absolutely! Let's take away the guns and tell people we're keeping them safe. Then we'll tell them that we're putting up cameras so that we can send the police in case we see any thing happen to them. i.e. "Oh my God! Somewhat just walked up with a mechete and decapitated that innocent unarmed person. Send the cops over, have them write up a report and come back! Don't worry. Hopefully we'll catch them the next time they kill someone!" :)

Or is it actually, "Let's put up cameras so that if an old tired lady decides to have a seat on the church steps, we can send the cops over to harass her, write her a ticket for loitering or trespassing and collect a fine! And She can't do anything about it because we have guns and the citizens don't.:).

These are great ideas! We didn't that constitution anyway! We'll just keep it around to make the citzens feel good while we slowly enact the George Orwell Saftey act of 1984.:) I'm excited! GO Communism!!

In the words of Lewis Black.... at the age of 17, every woman should be issued a pink pistol and taught how to use it and given instructions to carry it at all times.

Now they don't have to carry it, but the fact every woman might have one would deter crime dramatically.

And the reason it's pink. Well. Lewis thought of it and He wants it pink.:)

Sweet! a pink pistol sounds like the BOMB!

I have a better idea,how about taking a course to carry a concealed weapon, and then you can carry a gun with you at all times. The class doesn't cost all that much, and then you get a license to carry a gun for 5 years before having to renew the permit.
Also you can carry a gun without a permit with you at all times as long as it isn't concealed in WV.and Va. This law is observed any many state's,but you may want to check on it by each state before carrying weapon out in the open.

I have an even better idea. This course should be offered free of charge during junior or senior year of High School and should be a requirement to graduate.

hey I gotta an idea when the sun starts goin down why not let all of the good citizens in town get a gun and sit on the front porch?? ROFL...

Exactly how do you go about getting a concealed weapons permit? Does anyone know who you would call. Another thing, each time they have the class here in town it is of the evening. I know several of my friends and myself who would love to take it but don't have a sitter. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing this is not a class to take small children to. If they could have a class in the daytime whenever school starts back, that would be great! I know several of us who would try to attend.

Check with your local sheriff's office and they should be able to help you with this.
