Inmates slip out of Curry Co. jail

wonder how much of a payoff ensued to let this "accident" happen? I'm guessing the guards name was romero.

Doesn't this just make you feel so very safe? How does this happen? I must be just naive, I thought being in "jail" meant you were behind bars, watched, and couldn't just walk away.

Our legal system actually expects honesty from criminals! Like for showing up for court appearances, reporting for jail terms, abiding by under house arrest rules etc.

These people broke the law and our system actually expects to abide by other rules? Jez...

Salas was sentenced to life in prison last month for the 2005 shooting of a 10-year-old Clovis boy, who was killed when shots were fired through his bedroom window as he slept.

So why is it he was held in a jail as opposed to a prison? Is't jail for the accused and prison for the convicted?

Clovis is less than 2hrs away from Santa Rosa. Has anybody checked out the alibi of the Santa Rosa sheriff yet? I think he may be involved somehow........

This makes me so mad, they put our lives in danger with these criminal wondering around. Obviously someone was not doing their job. You wonder who got paid to turn their back. I hope they get caught before someone innocent gets hurt or worse.

And when there is a group escape, one or two of them are always real bad apples. I guess they let everyone hang with everyone.

Real bada$$es should be monitored a lot more closely.

They were noticed running near the jail? Oh, my heavens. Did the police not think to, huh, maybe go after them?????? They were probably singing "Born Free" as they were running!
