Cajuns/Acadians are te most genetically diverse and racially mixed people on the North American continent, so how exactly are we "inbred" as some of you say? Hell, I'm willing to bet Cajuns have more American Indian DNA than all of your German blonde people out there in OK who think claim to be Natives. At least our Native Americans in La actually have Native American features. Seriously, I have seen French and Sicilian whites in south Louisiana that are much darker complected than the so-called "Indians" of OK with blue eyes.

Baro and anyone else! You have to be stupid if you think we don't pay taxes too. Also the Cherokees gave at least 12 million or more to help with the highway by the casino at Catoosa. That is why the road construction started earlier than it was previously predicted to start! Read up on your facts before you comment. Don't just speak and then think! The Indians are constantly giving back millions to the schools and other community projects.

Don, Sounds to me you are just jealous that we are able to reap the rewards for being NATIVE AMERICAN... like being able to go to Indian Hospitals, clinics for free... getting indian car tags, being able to get homes based on income, help with getting college paid for etc.. the rewards are endless.... I am very proud to be Native American.... I sport my car tag with pride....It's even customized...I myself have worked my whole life and use my medical insurance. But, I could use the Indian Hospital and clinics if I ever needed to.

Oh PS.... Your mistaking us with YOUR Department of Human Services you know.... free housing, sooner care, food stamps, free groceries etc..

You are a real hater... Everyone in my family is beautiful. I mean that really. I even did some modeling when I was in my late teens and early 20's. As a matter of fact, I have never seen an "ugly" Indian. We have dark brown or black shiny beautiful hair, most of us have big dark brown or black eyes, eyelashes that almost touch your eyebrow, silky soft tanned skin.(naturally)... People actually think I color my hair to get it the color it is... So we are just naturally gorgeous.... All of us INDIANS! My father looked like a male model...
