They are yearlings that have just been "kicked out of the house"-- shooed- off by their mothers so that the mom can mate and have another cub. They are also about the size of an adult human but can "kick your butt" because they are lean, mean, and ticked-off at the world. Think of them as having "an ax to grind" and have nothing to lose-- plus they are HUNGRY!! I am glad all is well with the family and nothing more than some food and a window screen was harmed. Kay
