When a developer runs out of money, the houses start to look like the few in Saddleridge. Buyer beware.

After reading this my wife and I had to say that we moved from out of State to Saddleridge and we love it! The neighbors are great. We got a good deal and the developer KB was super to work with. No where that we know of can you see deer and Turkey walk through your yards peaceful. Kids can play outside in peace. It's truly a great neighborhood. We plan on staying here!

Wow! I never knew the place could deliver such a serene, utopian, and tranquil place to live. BTW if your in Georgia, you can pretty much see turkey and deer anywhere in the state including Atlanta. All except during hunting season, which sux.

I live across from this sub division in West Georgia and it is a good place to live. The houses are nice and the people living there are kind. This part of Georgia is a utopian I guess.

No, it sounds like a developer trying real hard to push a product few want.

So MS04, you think few want a comfortable, affordable home in a serene setting with good neighbors? That sounds like the Old American Dream to me. What is a shame is that because the decline in the housing market, builders go out of business before they get anything sold. I only hope the other homes that will eventually go in this subdivion will be the same quality as the ones that are already there. I also wish the builders now a days would offer 1 acre lots verses 1/4 of an acre in subdivions. The homes are too close together. There is really no privacy in the places you want privacy.

Most builders could care less what a house looks like 5 years after it is sold. And for the builders out of business, not to sound mean, but maybe the should have saved more when they were overcharging during all those gravy years. They should known nothing lasts forever.

You're right. They do have a homeowners association out there maybe they can make sure the houses stay as they are supposed to

Maybe, but a HA is only as good as the people who live there. If no one pushes an issue, no covenent is worth the paper it is written on.

It seems to me that the residents of this subdivision are good people. Everyone maintains their homes & yards. People are friendly. I can't imagine that they would not care enough about their community to not push an issue if needed.

The developer has been very straight forward & honest with us. Yes it is always good to be skeptical. But we shouldn't always assume everyone is out to do shoddy work & take advantage of people. This developer has proven to us that he truly tries to do right by people & actually cares about what he does.

Then it seems if you and your neighboors are the exception and not the rule. I am glad things are so nice.

It is a beautiful neighborhood. She is right about the yards and stuff. I just wish there were other amenities. Like a pool or tennis courts or something.

There is a good possibilty that a pool, tennis court,etc.. will be added when the HA is taken over by the actual HA. Which the developer hopes will be soon. I think he wants a few more homes first. But he's anxious to turn it over.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Leo

The atmosphere is highly combustible today, with people getting in a stew over the smallest little thing. You will also have a tendency to get hot under the collar, especially if someone isn't doing things as quickly as you'd like. Try to stop yourself getting in a rage because once that happens it will be difficult to cool down again. Maybe you need some fresh air?
