Murder investigation in Lee County

Has anyone been arrested? This is very sad.

faye was my friend forever she didnt deserve this cant believe she is gone.

Faye was my aunt! She will be loved and missed deeply! I have not heard anything for a few days, has anyone heard anything new? Has there been anything in the local papers or news? If so could someone please tell me where to find this, or if there is a website for it. The only article I have found is just the one where it says an investigation is underway and that she was beaten. Where can I find any information?? If anyone can please tell me, that would be great!! I do want to Thank everyone for keeping Faye and our family in your thoughts and prayers and helping in any way you can! Again, this can not be said enough, if you have any information at all PLEASE contact the authorities! Rather its just something you may have just heard or what ever, please help our family put the pieces together and solve this!! May GOD bless you!! Thanks!!

abby i can not tell you my name but your aunt and me was friends and i was blessed to know her for the short time i did have the sheriff office to check out her hubsand son please my heart has been tore out about her death she is missed very deeply

abby forgot to tell you she told me she was haveing bad problems with her husband son over the harley and two trucks please let the sheriff office know this please i want you to know my heart has been tore out about her death and i know she would want us to go on with our life i hope and pray they catch the basterd that done this to my friend

i was fays friend for 13yrs she was my sister i love her n this should have never happened to her she was to good a person for this to have happened to i will help the cops find who ever did this she was all i had in this sucky world

The detectives in this horrible crime need to back off and call in the state police!!! These men are backwoods hillbilly's!! They know the brutality of this murder is not something normal and will not be solved by the county police brain storming ideas!! Yet they will release a report so pompus that says she was beat to death and the local wild-life ate her face off, but her shirt was still tucked in and she had no other so-called bite marks "Please" This poor women had her face completely cut off. With the eye-witness reports that I gathered from the people that seen her body when it was discovered there was no defensive wounds on the arms. Her body was found on sunday morning. Not one of the five neigbors seen or heard anything the night before at her residence. I beleive she knew her attacker, and would have let this person in her home or went to another location willingly. I would like to see this case get the NATIONAL recognition that I beleive is needed in order to get a solid leed to the killer(s). Please comment back on FACTs only.....
