SSSSH! That's a bad as the Lady that purchased a new Motor Home. Thought Cruise was Auto Pilot, set it, and went to back to make a cup of Coffee! This is not a Joke! Was reported as one of the biggest boo boos of that Year. She sued the Motor Home Company and not only got a big money settlement and a new Motor Home but, the Company now puts a warning on the proper use of the Cruise Control in their operating Manual! Brains must be out to Lunch!!!!!

So many kids have been killed or crippled doing this. Shouldn't there be a law they have to wear helmets when driving?

An interesting close? Why do you think thats so interesting?

This kid is in critical condition and/or dying, you really think the families of those kids really want to talk to anyone? Sure, whatever they were doing was stupid, but someone got seriously hurt. Have some freakin decency and common courtesy and hope that kid is alright, dont poke fun at something like that.

The "interesting" was intended as a polite jibe at the double negative used by the article author, Knox.

I did not intend to mislead.

I would never make it as a reporter for the media, because I could never ask the family of their loved one, "How do you feel?" when their thoughts and prayers are focused on the recovery of their loved one(s).

the kid who jumped from the car is my cousin. he unfortuanetly made a poor decison that cost him his life. hopefully others learn from this and will not try to do a stunt like this. however everyone has been young before and im sure has made bad decisions. and for the person who cause " thats the younger generation and the future of the nation" is that really appropriate? like i said you were once young too and probably made bad choices but you got lucky. dont go around saying statements like that just because he is "young" there are plenty of "adults" who do stupid things and if you dont believe me read the paper or watch the news.

I agree, most of us were young and stupid at one time, but getting out of a moving car is just plain nuts. I am sorry for your loss.

Im betting the truth is once again , not being told , from what Im hearing the 2 that were with him were intoxicated , and Im betting one of the people that where with him was driving , Id reckon the OSHP and the KCSO have better be questioning the real facts , theres things not adding up

Thank you so much for your concern. I bet alot of these people wouldn't be saying these things if it happened to thier little brother. Just to let all you heartless people know, that kid was my brother and he has passed away.

FWIW, I lost a younger brother and sister, far too young to be dying.

Trying again, the Dispatch article author "closed" his article with a sentence containing a double negative.

That "close" was interesting because one does not often read an inadvertent double negative by a journalist.

This boy was my niece's friend. He has passed and was an organ doner....they were able to all 8 organs. We all did stupid things when we were young. This is a shame. :(

And where did you get your information? If you know oh so much, why arent you the one writing the article? Im sure the posters on here who are his actual family know more than anyone on this.
sweetthing and Twissted, I'm terribly sorry for your loss, its never easy to lose a family member. To say that I hope you both, along with your family can move on and heal is an understatement, it takes time to ease the pain, but I'm sure hes in a better place now. You all are in many peoples prayers, including mine.

I stated what I was hearing , which in turned , if you had any clue of the definition of hear ,
might have a clue ,
BTW it was a close friend that of the teen that Id heard this from .
and common sense plays in my opinion
1. If I were a passenger in a car and the driver wanted to car surf , point is I wouldnt want to be in that car ,
2 . If I were an investigating officer , Id bet
the up front passenger , reached over took the wheel and and controlled the throttle , as in rural mail carriers , I still say there's shenanigans
some one is covering their ass ..

they took the teen to chad davis's house , maybe to hide , the fact that there was under age drinking involved , not the driver , but the passengers ! this is fact , I do not know of many teens of this day , that dont have cell phones ,why wasnt 911 called immediately ??
still say , theres more to this then whats being told ,,,

For your information it was smashed all to hell. Hinch why he is not with us anymore. But let me guess you are one of those stupid people that read just what is in the papers and go by that. I am so glad that todays people spend there time on the computer making comments about nothing that concerns them. Thanks for the support to the family that just lost a young brother son cousin UNCLE.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Capricorn

Don't let anyone stand in the way of your progress and don't reveal personal secrets. You could very easily become run down at the moment. An empty promise could leave you feeling sad. If you're working today, there could be some problems: stick to your own work and make sure that someone doesn't try to take credit for your efforts.
