East Side Church Hit By Graffiti -- Again

Seriously... vandalizing a church? I wish people had better things to do with their time.

Are you actually surprised? Mount Vernon Ave. is a slum. I go to school at CSCC and have been down that street many times praying i dont break down.

I agree with Billy Boy.. That hole part of town is a dump and the Trash that lives there don't care if they vandalize a church or there own house. Trash bring more Trash

While there problems, Mt. Vernon Avenue is depressed area, but is NOT a slum...and that is a beautiful church.

From what I saw on the telly ("Don't go to this church"), the perp seems to have a personal vendetta against the church. I also traveled down Mt. Vernon Avenue, as well as Spring St. and Long St., going to or from Columbus State and never had any serious concerns. I mind my business and they seem to mind their's.

This city is going to hell in a hand basket, and Mike Coleman doesn't seem to give a good God Damn about the crime here. I was born here, I was raised here, but I am trying to get out!!!!

Pride is vandalizing a church? Vandalism is bad enough and is usually done by the useless uneducated trashy people anyway because they don't have anymore intelligence or common sense than a barn yard animal but to vandalize a church, have fun answering to God on that one.

Correct me plese Mike if I'm wrong but I believe that Mt Vernons son was just saying that the vandals could not have been from Mt. Vernon because residents of Mt. Vernon take pride in their neighborhood. I'm not sure where you got that pride is vandalizing a church but I just wanted to point out the apparent discrepancy.

I know that is what he believes but he is more than likely wrong. It doesn't make much sense to drive to Mt. Vernon to vandalize a church, it was more than likely someone that lives there and thought it would be funny because as I stated before their lack of intelligence and maturity

How sad that vandals are doing this.

us too we have had the only bad luck of our entire lives here!

i love this city, i love everything about it. sometimes undereducated people do stupid things. what do you expect when you wast all your money on worthless things that make egotistical people feel good about them selves!
