Norma wrote: The "Singing Rambos" were one of my favorite Southern Gospel trios back in the 70s. Dottie Rambo was an inspiration to me. As I sang her songs I definitely understood the meaning of the words as God's anointing filled me and others. God is beholding one of the sweetest angels ever. The only gospel show I ever went to was The Singing Rambos in Fla about 1972 or so. My grandma made me go. Being 9 and into The Beatles I wanted nothing to do with it. They had me after the 3rd song. What a beautiful voices they had. After the show they came out to sign albums and such. Dottie thanked me and gave me a hug and kiss and a blessing. I've never forgotten how kind she was. R.I.P Mrs. Rambo.

I am so sorry that we have lost a wonderful person and singer, she has blessed me many times, and now she is with the Lord, and she is in perfect health. She had many back surgery's, but now she is whole and complete.

Looking Up

Dottie Rambo was God's Angel for sure. My husband and I met her when she sang in Branson back in the mid 1990s. We had loved her and her music for many years. A good friend sang her song "He looked Beyond My faults and Saw My Needs" for several years in Branson. That song was sung at my husband's Funeral. He truly does Look beyond our faults ahd sees our every need. Heaven Rejoiced on Mothers Day 2008 when another Angel Came Home. God Bless all the Rambo Family and all the Friends who will miss Dottie here on Earth. Rejoice, if you know the Lord you will see her in Heaven.

I pray that Reba and the other family members are strengthened at such a time. Only God knows the whys and whens, but we do know that we will all one day see Him as He is. Dottie's songs has touched millions throughout the years, and they will continue to touch many million more.

I grew up going to concerts that featured "The Rambos." All of us in our 50's probably --and justifiably--thought of Dottie as the best song writer in the world! I had a little three-ringed "special" notebook with her songs I had typed on a manual typewriter. If you lived it as I did, you know what a "special" is and know most of Dottie's songs by heart. She's living her reward now in Heaven.

WOW, Daniel from Plainview, have you ever missed a deep, spiritual blessing if you have not heard Dottie Rambo. I suggest you go to You Tube and check her out. I am not ashamed to date myself here (63 3/4) and I listened to Dottie before 1977. I was in ministry school at Christian Retreat in Bradenton, Fl.(great place to visit) and The Rambo's came to do a concert. In those days you could tape record so I have that tape and many 33 1/3 LP's also. This ladies songs and her voice will still live in the depths of my soul...can't wait to see her when I go home. Does anyone know it '77 was when she wrote "Germs" for Reba. Let me assure everyone "DOTTIE RAMBO IS ALIVE AND WELL...right where she is at home. Each time I think of her tears fill my eyes but these Tears Will Never Stain the Streets of Heaven. to Dottie's family, especially Reba, thanks for sharing your Mom with the world....carry on Reba.
