cant beleive all the junk an high prices on face book yard sales. cars and trucks that should sell for around 500 dollars to 800 dollars they are asking thousands of doollars for old woreout cars. the junk they are selling you can go by for new at the price they are asking. not to mention all the old wore out furniture an use junk they are asking a war price for. come on people get real, yard sell prices are just that yard sell prices.

As long as the people who are selling it get what they ask I dont see what the problem is, if you want the item cheap buy it before she does.

What is wrong with that. I know several people that do that and even take their own time and set up a actual yard sale. I guarantee if u stop at a yard sale and look around there will be other stuff sitting out there that at one time was at someone else's yard sale. There is nothing wrong with buying something and then trurning around and resale it Sounds like to me someone is just pissed cause they wanted something and she had cash in hand and bought it and now they can not afford it Oh I guess u have never bought anything and resold it and made a buck or two off of it.

As for myself, and I'm sure many others in these hard times, I am very thankful that the Yardsale sites are on FB. I joined them BY CHOICE. No one has to. My family has been hit hard by a job loss, in which I had been at for more than 20 years. I was very thankful to be able to find 2 vehicles on here that has, thus far, been good ones and gotten my family from points A to B, and much cheaper than I had found elsewhere. I have also found been able to find many children's items that were necessary for my family. If others can afford new things, that's great. I once could too. I once drove brand new vehicles every 2 years and had name brand clothes that came out of the finest stores for my family and never had to worry about how to pay bills or feed my family, but in the snap of my fingers, all of that changed....But, I've also found that those things weren't at all what brought me happiness. My Lord humbled me and it's been a good lesson...maybe one I should have learned earlier. Never think that the security that you stand upon cannot be shaken and you be in same position as the homeless and hungry...Never let your pride overtake you. God has a way of bringing the prideful to their knees.

Something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. If the stuff sells then I guess the price is OK. I wouldn't pay the asking price for most the stuff I see on there. I don't think it's worth it to me. But many of these people are getting what they ask so I guess it's a case of something being worth what the market will bare. That's Free enterprise at it's core.
