Preston has more antiques, collectibles and craft type vendors. Oh and lets not forget the animals, Preston has lots of different animals to choose from. Mt. Sterling is more commercialized
with mostly food booths and t-shirts and as seen on tv merchandise.

Preston is the original court days from years back . Folks would trade guns knives canned food hunting dogs exc. In my opinion it is the best for finding stuff to buy or trade.

to me court day is like Christmas, it is my favorite time of year, everyone is right though, court day has turned into commercial sales... it's all food, and new products, court day arrived from every one coming to mt.sterling to trade, like previously said, and if you wanna get a taste of what it was originally like, then preston is the place to go... it's more like old times, with tools, and animals... and guns... etc.

Definitely Preston. Lots of homemade goodies. Not the crappy junk they push in Mt. Sterling.

Preston court days are horrible IMO. The animals they do have look poor as hell. Also they sell stuff that is GARBAGE!!!!

I suggest that you go to both and then you would miss nothing since there not that far apart but go early to Preston because after around 10:30 it is traffic lined up back to Rt.36 but Mt. Sterling is always crowded. I go for the food but usually find something lug outta there..Its only once a year so don't miss it.

i was born n raised in mt.sterling,on main st. court day is like a way of life, i was right in the middle of it. it has really grown over the years and become more commerical than regular court. it is like a money racket now. i still enjoy going mostly to see people i haven't seen for years. i always run into somebody i grew uo with or went to school with. preston is more like original court days n is a whole whole lot cheaper.. u can find all sort of things at preston that u can'y find in the city.. i suggest that u see both. then u can decide for yourself

Yes, pretty much. Preston doesn't have the time restrictions though so a lot of people are already set up the whole week before. They are now as a matter of fact!

Preston is great for those especially who remember the old Mt Sterling Court Days. Preston is a good choice!
