They need to drug test them when their in jail also. The drugs get in the jail also. They need to search their body better.

Just a thought....if you are arrested and found to have illegal drugs in your system you should be charged...also if you are dependant on the government for your living, your check stops here! Same goes for the ones arrested for selling if convicted....and use their check and pay for their jail and rehab....just a thought

I know when they go to prison they loose check, but if in jail and they draw food stamps they still get them, and when they get out they have stamps saved up but some still sell them while in jail an have the person who sell them put money in their jail account. The system should have a better tracking system. They can create more jobs to have people monitor who in jail an make sure they loose their ben

Not everyone that goes in the jail are druggies, some people have legit medical condition that require narcotic. First tell me how a deputy is qualified to gather a sample and the proper procedures to follow. How do they even know the sample you renderer is from the person giving the sample. Drug test are to be administered by qualified professional not the jail staff. The text they have there are just cheap tests to check for trace amout and that test is usually only about 8-10 percent effective. It's actually a violation of an incarcerated inmate to be tested without a court order. And the booking fee, that's another one, once and inmate has been released per the judge they can not still detain you for not paying the booking fee. That is unconstitutional and false imprisonment on the jails behalf. It will take some time but in due time it will come out in the wash and it won't be good for MCRJ. That place is filthy and inhumane in all sence of the word. If enough people band together they could put a stop to it. There's more criminals behind the badge that make the shit going on in the street and the people doing it look like alter boys!

@ notallthesame, I think that was well said! I have not been to jail but I agree that it is unconstitutional, where does it stop! I mean look at Myers, he stole the money from the drug test who is to say he couldn't fix the results too! I think the judges need a drug test, we would have less judges, let's just say that!

@comeon , I would say we won't be very surprised! I know for sure of one judge here, who has and continues to do drugs! It is ridiculous that we all look the other way when it comes to them but love to jump on all the little people! Some things are just common sense, drug test everyone who works at the courthouse, jail etc. and see what the results are, I would say there would be a lot of job openings!

U r so right, evem Mr.Jones he is not doing ne better than Dewayne, in fact at least Dewayne would allow u to call ur family if u had no money and also he has no ideal what due process of the law means and has not a clue about inmates rigjts, yes they didn't get there by been good but they still have rights after all this is America, the inmates r having to take showers with torn up sheets, now Jones where is all that money ur saving going?
