YES YES YES! PLEASE pass this bill so I can enjoy my food at a restaurant without having to smell disgusting cigarette smoke!

Complete and utter nonsense, let the business owners decide whether or not they should have a smoking section. Patrons will vote with their pocketbook and simply choose not to frequent establishments with government regulations like this.

I have started chewing plug tobacco after my meal now instead of lighting up. Only problem is they won't give me a spit cup so I use the plate or empty coffee cup.

It's about time! I have asthma and its hard to go out to enjoy a meal when you have to worry about secondhand smoke killing you (at least smokers have the filter). I believe that people should have the right to smoke all they want to in their own homes, but public places should have been off limits a long time ago.

dang... i think my fine was less than that when i got busted smoking POT!

Smokeing is still legal right? And can you all do something about the gas insted of make up problems ....

I agree with you... I am a smoker and it seems like the non-smoker group has the upper hand on this. I feel if you dont want to smell the smoke---sit in non-smoking (no offense).. or enjoy a non-smoking establishment but a majority of people that go to the bars/clubs are smokers. It is not up to the government to dictate the actions of others. Owners should have the right to decide if they want smoking in their establishments or not. With this choice, then I can make my choice to enter or not!!
