I (being white) have witnessed first hand how rude Hispanics treat whites in my hometown. As mentioned above I too have gotten not only ugly stares in stores like Wal-Mart or McDonalds. These actions make me feel like I don't belong in the town that I've grown up in. I've had several Mexican friends growing up and have dated a few hispanic chicks and have never diplayed a racist attitude towards anyone of that race but yet when I was 16 I had rocks thrown at me for being white and walking down a all hispanic street. My mother is a local vendor and has lost over half of her business because because local hispanics would rather buy from....? hispanics, end of story. It's terrible getting a decent job here because you have to be bi-lingual and even if you understand and speak a little spanish (like me) you get laughed at for being white and trying to speak Spanish. Hispanics are supposed to be very religious (Catholic) yet thier attitude towards whites is terrible and not very god-like. I will say that not all hispanics are bad but the ones here in TX are making the entire race look bad in my eyes. I wish they would change my mind. Thank you

I hate to tell you this but they were in California first. As a teacher you should know this better than anyone! I hope you aren't a history teacher. If you really want to know what happend when California became part of the US, do some research. One of our Presidents though he would out-smart Mexico and purchase it for $30 million. That led to the Mexican American war.

Speaking of the English language, learn it yourself. Your spelling is terrible. Is that a generalization of all of Mexico being in chaos? What part did you "visit"? Just across the border? Try living in Mexico for a year and a half and see that it's not all like that! I can sense that you need some culture in your life, NC isn't cutting it for you. I'm tired of the Mexicans saying that this country was built by immigrants this is true but there were not the social programs like there are today you had to make you own way. It is too late Latinos are the vast majority in Texas, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Florida, New York and the other states are to come! Also, your children's children will probably grow up Latino, because given in about 50 years this nation will resemble Latin America, maybe. So, I would advise learning Spanish ASAP, also learning the differences between the different nations and races that makeup Latin American people. Also, I would suggest learning how to cook Latin foods, the United States will be more known as, LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS....our new Latin nation :)
