Lots of people can afford a motorcycle.
Less actually know how to ride one.

I was there and saw him laying on the side of the road. If he could ride or not or how much is bike cost is beside the point. He is being missed by someone. If anyone from his family reads this I would like you to know that your family is in or prayers. All my wife and I could talk about for the next four hours home was this man.

We were there also. I know very little about bikes, but would like to own one.. one day.. but not sure if my wife will let me after seeing the accident. My wife and I talked about the accident all the way back to Raleigh. We stopped in Hickory to eat lunch and said a prayer for him and his family. To the family of Mr. Donovan Michael English may God be with you during the time of your lost

Thank you for your kindness, I am a friend of the family and I know they appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
Unfortunately there are others that
feel that THEIR assumptions and comments are worthy of being put on this site. Mr.English has 3
children and a very loving familywho are devastated. He was an experienced rider but got into gravel and lost control. Thank you again for your kind words and I pray that when other people experience the sadness and loss that this family is going through that others use more concern in the comments that they choose to express.

Our thoughts and prayers goes out to him, his family and Club. FLMC lost 2 bros to a DWI suspect who crossed the centerline and took 4 of 6 bikes out in our pack last weekend in Goldsboro, NC.....2 dead at the scene, 1 still in the hospital trying to save his leg, 2 thank God have been released from the Hospital.
GRMC's from our area frequents our clubhouse on Race Days and we're looking forward to May 24, seeing everybody safe again!

Thats a really crappy thing to say at a time like this. I was a good friend of donovans, and this has been a shocker to everyone. I know his family and all of his other friends have been devastated since the accident. He will be dearly missed.

What a silly comment (and that's "silly" as in "absurd", not "funny"). A man dies in a vehicle accident, and you make some one-sentence rant against, well..., I'm not sure ~what~ it's against. Have some respect, dude...

A human killed in a traffic incident is tragic to the family.I've noticed many a "biker" ride the center line and over it just challenging the big rigs and any driver as if I dare you to hit me attitude.

Gravel got my number once. It sucked. I promptly fixed and sold the bike. I love riding, but there is such a small margin of error on a bike that almost anything can be fatal. A few summers back I had a week where I hit a deer on the interstate, and 4 days later my truck got totalled by an uninsured mexican. I could easily have been on my bike for either one of those, and that would have been all for me. I will stick to cars for the time being. My condolances to the family.

Does the family need anything. My wife and I live in the HP area and would like to help if we could. Thou we didnt know Donovan he changed my wife and i's life for ever!! I will never let someone I love leave without telling them how much I love them, we are put on this earth for a very short time and seeing something like this makes one realize how fragile life is. I dunno. Driving into downtown this morning on 240 there were 2 motomorons going 20+ over the limit and weaving in and out of lanes. As long as you have mentally defective idiots like them operating motorcycles, these stories will continue. Sad.

Another noise polluter off the road. They don't call them donor-cycles for nothing. Hope some person in need was able to use his corneas, or other body organs, it there were any left.

Can't you see your way clear to at least show some compassion for this man's family? Your personal opinion about motorcycles doesn't mean anything at this point.
