My question is why didnt officer martin shoot the man in a non-leathal place to try and prevent death. Im hearing people say that officer martin was by himself. If the suspect is known for violent behavior like the shootout in 2005 then more officers should have been there. So couldnt this lethal shot been avoided? I think it was a bad choice of action. Now families are suffering over the lose of a loved one and the officer that made the judgment call to shoot him in the chest is on PAID leave till the investigation is finished.
