This young man ought to be held accountable for his actions. I'd rather no bail be granted so he can have opportunities to think about the consequences of his actions. Then, perhaps, after he's had time to reconsider the road he's traveling, he'll decide to get help so he can change for the better. Regarding the young lady, I hope she opts for some counseling to have someone to share her thoughts, concerns, feelings with outside of her immediate family.
