Libyan Leader Moammar Gadhafi Pitches His Tent on Trump Property

Libyan leader is in New York and spoke at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. This is his first visit to the United Sates since he siezed power 40 years ago, but he is getting a cold reception. He's having a tough time finding a place to pitch his tent. Before arriving in the US, the Libyan government prepared to pitch the tent in a New Jersey town but faced overwhelming opposition there. Most recently, Mr. Gadhafi pitched his reception tent in the town of Bedford, New York but now an official there says it has come down.

What I can't understand is why does he need to stay in a tent while he's in the US? He doesn't live in a tent in Libya in fact he own multiple palatial residences. And he has to stay in a tent in the US!?! What drama.

Obama talks a good game! Hannity got it right! Where was obama standing up for people in iran when they were being gun down and oppressed. Same place he is at while we scream out to him to listen to us. In bed with qaddafi. Or chavez, or castro take your pick! They all refer to each as brother and son!

He's not sleeping in the tent. He's in the Libyan Embassy. It was removed when it was removed shortly after his people put it up after renting the Trump property....something very common with those castle like estates.

Basically, he would be sleeping in the backyard of 9/11 victims...literally.

It would be a huge cost of security to taxpayers also.

I'm proud of the way New Yorker politicians handled this.

Same Obama that knew about the release of the terrorist bomber but said nothing & did nothing which later turned into a major slap to us all with Gadhafi welcoming the killer as a HERO.

Obama is such a yutz. No wonder Gadhafi thinks he's great.

George HW Bush let this scumbag Qadafi get away with the murder of Americans. Lockerbie PAM AM 103. The Bush clan makes me sick. No retaliation for a government sponsored terrorist act. All we got was a lenghty trial and then a released terrorist.
