Service: Fast and friendly
Cleanliness: Much improved from Papparoni's
Cost: Average
Recommendation: Eat here if you want good home-cooked food at a reasonable price. Don't look for a ritzy atmosphere. This is the best restaurant in Mt. Holly thus far.

Wow- great service, food. May be a little pricey, but probably the best place to eat in MH.

Good place to eat- by the way, what has happened to the City Cafe? The last time I was there the service was terrible, food was cold, Portions were very small, and ended paying a good bit for it. Should have went to Woodshed!

I ate at Knife and Fork for the first time this weekend. The food was great. My wife, my children, and myself were all impressed. The service was good and (unlike City Cafe) it didn't take 2 hours to get our food 2nd rate, overpriced food.

Well, I went back for the second time to Knife and Fork. The first time was good. The second time... not so good. The floor looked very, very dirty. If the floor looks that dirty where everyone can see it, what does it look like in areas that I cannot see? I nearly walked out it was so disgusting. The breakfast was slightly below average in food quality. IHOP certainly has better breakfasts. You pay more at IHOP, but at least their floors are clean and the food better.

Let's face it. This is as good as we are going to get in Mt. Holly. A decent restaurant would put Knife and Fork, City Cafe, and all the rest out of business.

The only place delivering good quality food, a clean environment, and good service is the Japanese place on Hwy. 27.

we eat at knife and fork alot and have had great service and great food and pete is always as friendly as he can be and his staff are very polite .

What does anyone think of the wellhouse? I think the employees need to attend a barista training. I have yet to get a decent speciality coffee there and stopped wasting my money trying. The baked goods are great, but a coffee shop should offer good coffee.I know they are not Starbucks, but they did start the coffee craze and set the standard for what coffee should be. I will drive to Mountain Island now to Dilworth Coffee when I want a real coffee.

went recently and actually had great service but as was not over impressed with the food. i still like city cafe better for breakfast or lunch.
