As alot of people are doing today, I thorou to find a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe and located (online) one from Victory Chevrolet. After the deal was consumated, Bobby, the salesman, insisted on delivering the vehicle to me at NIGHT!. I hesitated, but decided to take the night delivery because he said it would be another week before he could get another driver......right!! The next morning after taking deliver I went outside to inspect the vehicle, I was shocked to see that there was a cracked windshield. After calling and telling the dealer, they FINALLY AGREED TO REPLACE THE WINDSHIELD. When the guys from the glass company came to do the work one of them asked if I knew there was hail damage on the hood of the car. Once again, I was shocked. Mind you.... the salesman (Bobby) told me in the beginning that he had thoroughly inspected the car and that there was not as much as a single scratch on it anywhere! They refused to do anything about the hail damage and said that they had done all they were going to do......THEY WOULD NOT TAKE IT BACK EITHER! Stating that it was too much trouble.....YOU ARE CRAZY IF YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.....BEWARE****NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

Ervin file a complaint with the better business beareau. They can address the claim. Also in North Carolina they have a lemon law, meaning that if you think and can show the car was a lemon (hail damage would qualify) you can simply return the car to dealership within 30 days

Ervin, it seems you were taken for a sucker and I do feel sorry for you. I hope you get some compensation. Thanks for the heads up! Dealing with car salesmen is like dealing with the devil. How most of them sleep at night is beyond me. Right SP?

Your ascertion is popular but still a wrong information. But if you would like to lobby your state representatives to create that law in NC, it would be a good thing for consumer protection. Just be ready for an onslaught of attacks from the business community in general. But depending on the dollar amount involved, you can try small claims court.

ERVIN JOHNSON wrote: victory chevrolet selling ****h-a-i-l damaged vehicles**** Ervin, how could you not see hail damage before buying a vehicle? With something so obvious, I doubt they even have a legal requirement to disclose. It is tantamount to selling a wrecked vehicle with smashed finders, the buyer has every responsibility to visually inspect the vehicle (due diligence) and at least ask questions if they notice anything. The buyer (or potential) can ask for a report on the vehicle. I myself have purchased a vehicle a few years back that had damage reports, but I asked the dealer to put it on the lift and allow me to inspect the car before I decided that the repair was done professionally and there was no sign of continued worry. The car is still operating great and I am pleased that I got the deal made. The price was aapropriate and no one was dishonest in the transaction. How many vehicle owners trade vehicles they either know or fear have some major mechanical issues and do not disclose to the dealership? But you are so ready to attack dealers. How dishonest...

For what it's worth, I was sold an Impala by Bobby. He wasn't high pressure and I didn't get a skeezy vibe. He promised to find car mats because the car I picked didn't have them. He came through on that promise when I came back to pick up the tag and registration.
