Prerequisites for becoming a biker. Have gray hair and some sort of facial hair ... also must be gray. A scarf to wrap around my head, for some reason most when asked have no idea why. Choose a bike that is the slowest and loudest of all brands and make as much noise as possible. Act like a roofer or some type of construction worker and talk like an idiot...but must be intimidating when confronted about looking and sounding like and idiot. Professional people must never reveal they have a education. Last but not least MUST find others in large numbers to act and do stupid things with...can not be a biker alone.

Sad that the promoters are using a band responsible for the deaths of 100 people. A band that snuck in pyro to do it. Hope no one gets killed this time around...

Most of these bikes have illegal straight pipes and hurt disturb citizens. Florida should enforce the federal law against them. No bike comes this way and they are all modified to become too loud. Bikers will say that the loud pipes save lives. If they really wanted to save lives, they would be wearing helmet. 95% do not. This is all about people not caring that they bother the huge majority of people who don’t want to listen to the roar of these illegal bikes and the police who are afraid to follow the laws they are sworn to uphold.

Light travels faster than sound. Therefore, in order to save lives, these motorcycles should have flashing lights, not loud pipes.

Harley Davidson riders always, and I mean always, rev their engines while sitting at a stoplight. Is that so they can be as loud at standstill as they are on acceleration? Would their bikes otherwise stall if they didn't rev them while idling?

What do you think of a law that requires owners of loud motorcycles, regardless of make/model, to walk their motorcycles out of neighborhoods after, say, 10 p.m.?

Sounds to me as if your a sore loser who can't take part in the events. Bet your ole lady would like to be on the back of one of our bikes instead of being with you.

Once again, another non-rider speaking without thinking. I sat and had lunch on 27/441 today at noon and counted the riders wearing helmets(100 bikes)...and it is closer to 55% who were wearing helmets. Get the info before posting your crap.

Of the hundreds of thousands of people Leesburg played host to this weekend, I would say 99% of them were great people out to have a fun time, which we aim to provide. I sold merchandise,helped our guests in any way possible,and dealt with a plethora of personalities for those 3 days and had nary a problem with any of them, save that 1%. We welcome professionals out for a relaxing weekend, tourists, "bikers" of all genres, "Outlaws", families, etc. What we -DON'T- need are people with bad, nasty attitudes. Therefore "ut oh" can stay posted up at his keyboard and need not make the trip over here next year.

Why is it that so many bikers raise hell all year, then try to make up for it with Toys for Tots?

All the trash talking some of you (who know nothing of what you speak of) do about bikers...is it any wonder we bikers stick together and choose to hang around nicer people than you! Give me a greasy loud biker any day over the likes of some of you.

I like to keep an air horn in my car so that when I'm next to a Harley Davidson rider who changed out his stock muffler for something that emits, say, 400 decibels, I can blast the horn and make more noise than he does when the light turns green and we accelerate.
