Why is it seems like they are just looking for reason to pull somebody over?

Food City moved to Church Hill and that hurt Mt Carmel quite a bit. Don't get me wrong though, Mt Carmel officers were just as bad when Food City was located in the shopping center. I remember getting a ticket for doing 27 mph in a 20 mph zone. Wow, 27 mph is so fast and dangerous. Best thing to do is kick them where it hurts the most. Don't speed and always wear your safety belts and make sure your tags are up to date and all the lights, signal lights are in working order.

True but I will add one make sure that is ur brake is hanging n ur tire is smoking n u r trying to get to auto parts store do everything u can to avoid Mt Carmel!

If someone has an order of protection and its violated then someone supposed to go to jail. But not in Mt. Carmel. I guess its according to who you are and how much money you have. The truth will come out .

they dont have cops....at least any with a backbone, that I have seen!!! they use traffic cameras to generate revenue and refrain from pulling over people on 11w...I guess if I were too spineless to do my job, I would let a camera and the post office do it for me too... a ticket a week later does nothing for public safety.... low life is all I have to say about these punks!!!! and I do have the utmost respect for a police officer that will actually do their job... not in this town...

You realize that individual police officers have no say in if a city uses speed cameras right? It's usually the city council who makes the final call on something like that. You mook.

I saw a video from the local news with the police boy that reviews the videos and sends out the tickets...he looked like he enjoyed it...so I am guessing they have some say...

Just wait to your mayor hire David Dean in your police dept. that will be one more guy that been fired from three police job. why was he fired from them. Truth has not been told yet.

Well Well the mayor has hired David Dean what a good mistake he has done by doing that. With a back ground that he has padding his time sheet then had to pay it back is that the kind of policeman that any town need. He just got fired from Bean Station and also was fired from Mt.Carmel, North East state, Hawkins county
Why do we need that kind? Compaign promise from the mayor
