AMEN!!! Our justice system is a joke!!and the parents are not much better! Little johnny comes home with new stuff, no job and the parents dont ask anything. when I was a kid and came home with something I got questioned and the facts checked!!

I am amazed that Walmart would actually leave money in a closed register. Everybody is right though they are probably already out and thinking of the next way to steal. How is so many people today choose crime over a honest day's work. Guess nobody believes in eternal (you know) anymore. I myself do and don't intend to spend it keeping big red company.

Kudos to the cops for nabbing the thugs. One thing I see humor in is that they didn't even bring their own prybar, just picked one up right there from the extensive (sarcasm) tool section. Kinda' surprised with the quality of goods they carry that the dang thing didn't break when they used it on the registers!
Just a thought-Walmart is open 24 hours a day, right? These little hoodlums are pretty brazen.

Why are they not working? I wonder how much more money they will cost the tax payers? Court cost, lawyers, housing, food, counseling, social workers, The parents of these minors need to have some consequences also, and I don't want to hear "Well I am a single parent", that has nothing to do with knowing what and where your teenagers are.

Do these acts of crime REALLY surprise anyone these days? Don't get me wrong, I am NOT condoning these acts of theft / crime, but in this day and age, there is little,if any, respect for other peoples stuff. With the way the economy is, it will only get worse and I hope they keep locking up these people and I really wish the system would prosecute them to the fullest but as we all know, they'll be out again just to steal again! An of course that cuts into our pockets in some form! RESPECT for the property of others is DEEPLY lacking in these peoples lives! What's sad is that society will usually put the lack of respect/morals on the parent(s) when in reality, that's NOT always the case! I just think it's sad that WORK ETHICS are not as important today as what they were years ago when I was growing up! Hard work NEVER killed anyone, even if we didn't like it, we knew that we were still doing the right thing and that is how we were expected to support our families...not by stealing from others!!

I find it somewhat amusing that these rocket scientist never thought that there was a pattern to these robberies. Hey!, let's go out and rob 19 stores, all Wal-Marts, and nobody will catch on. lol.

Yes, one "could" be considered a "youthful offender" but hopefully they will charge him/her as an adult!! That would be the RIGHT thing to do.... after all, he/she is 17 and knows right from wrong!!!

Back in my day, school was uphill both ways in the snow. Kids respected their elders. I used to get up at 4:30 in the morning to slop the hogs before I went to my job shoveling snow at the general store before school. Then I made my own clothes. Didn't have no tv or i-poddly-doo dads and electric gizbangers. We played with rocks and poisonous snakes. No darnn robberies cause we all worked hard all day and was too tired to steal. Besides, nobody had anything worth stealing because we was all dirt poor. AND THAT'S THE WAY WE LIKED IT!!!
