Wentzville KFC

Were you aware that our KFC is charging 10cents plus tax PER PACKET of KETCHUP... They must be in desperate need of money.. It cost me $2.00 to get ketchup for my kids to eat their chicken strips and potato wedges.. I could have waked over to save-a-lot and bought 2 bottles for that... I think this is a shame....Tell all your friends if you agree

The owner of our local KFC contacted and apologized saying that is not their policy.. They do not charge for ketchup. The employee had been misinformed...

Ok, so you were mistaken by the charging of ketchup packets, but don't you think this statement of yours makes you appear as a hypocrit? You're complaining over a measly 10 cents! And do your kids eat ketchup with their strips, or more like strips with their ketchup? Please, do us all a favor & think of other ways to complain about money.

I believe i had the right to be upset for them charging for a standard condiment... It is not about the 10 cents... Its about people getting money hungry... I did post that the employee was misinformed... And i also declined the gift card they wanted to send me for the mistake... I was not out to get something free... I was simply stating how things have seemed to change in this economy. And you really shouldnt make comments about peoples children... It is VERY rude...

How is making a comment about someone else's kids rude? Get over it lady, present yourself & your children to the real world - comments are EVERYWHERE, rudeness is EVERYWHERE, this is a community site so I, and everyone else, am entitled to make whatever comments we want. Just as you did about the ketchup, if you don't like comments then stay off of here!

As for KFC and charging the price-

Please re-read my first ad; I categorized 'hipocrit' as in: she was complaining about the 10 cent ketchup packets yet she also stated she could have walked over to the store & spent $2 in ketchup - the point I was making is that IF KFC was charging for packets, for only 10 cents that is, why would she gripe over that since a bottle of ketchup would cost her more money??? It's all petty, even this post, but since she posted a meaningless ad, I posted a meaningless comment back to her.
And you might want to re-read your post as well, you stated 'not to but into anyone's conversation' but you continued to comment anyway - isn't THAT considered a hipocrit?

And maybe your intent was to state the hipocracy was in the price of the ketchup, but that still doesn't change the hipocracy of commenting that you have a right to comment, but implied she shouldn't.

Boy, you just don't stop, do ya?! Your post, again, does not make alot of sense......I DID NOT say she SHOULDN'T comment - I SUGGESTED that she gripe about something more meaningful. So not only has this turned into a petty posting about 10 cent ketchup packets, it has also turned into a hipocracy bicker. Sorry, I am no longer amused......so you can go 'butt' into someone else's conversation......only next time you should be sure to read the posts VERY WELL before commenting so you don't sound like a dip!

For MAD- keep commenting about the ketchup issues- I find it refreshing that first- you wanted to make it known that something appeared unjust- and also that you took the responsibility and time to post that things had gotten resolved and clarified.

Oh my I must say this is quite the post. Why must anyone bicker about catsup is beyond me.
I am an outsider looking in, so if you want an outsider's opinion, here goes:
MAD - thank you for looking out for our community but seriously if you are going to be so sensitive (catsup packets & kid gossip) then you should not be on this community site.
JADED - Not sure why you bothered to chime in with MAD's post, you're right there isn't much meaning here. BUT.....your comments are down to earth and blunt, many people enjoy that.
HIPPOCRATES - You're right, this is definately a community site. But it seems you have a deep fixation on Jaded's posts instead of your feelings for the catsup packet cost.
Ok, I said it....now I will go comment on some other posts........thank you!!

My feelings on the catsup packets- I did state them- read the last post I made. I specifically stated what I thought of posting about the packets.

HIPPOCRITS, with today's economy being on the downside for everyone, why would you make such a comment? I in fact live on land in Wentzville on over 3 acres with over 2500 sq ft of home and am fully employed. My son and his wife, on the other hand, have been struggling since this economy has hit a mud slide. My wife and I have helped them and they are still going through foreclosure for there is no more we can do. See, even tho my wife and I are comfortable, no one is ever prepared for a hit we've all taken from this economy. With that being said, you will be offending alot of individuals with your comment, and I quote, "SO- be unamused- go back to your McMansion that is approaching foreclosure and find a new form of amusement". That my friend is a below the belt hit that no one deserves. All we can hope for is that Karma doesn't exist or you are doomed. Bless you!
