Banyan's on the Ridge is... okay...
Sorta. The service is mediocre at best, often inconsistent and lacking- even on evenings when no one else is dining. It feels out of place with their formal atmosphere- our table is almost always greeted with a 'guys' or 'hows it goin'. I dont mind the casual approach, but please know which side to place my drink and food! While I like the concept of an open kitchen, it was embarassing to see cooks and waiters argue over our meals (as if we could not hear!)The staff as a whole could be more professional- They seem to be out of something everytime I come. The wine list has a good selection- but again, items are frequently not available... The food is hit or miss- some dishes are great!- others not so much...
I would probably reccommend the Wine Bar before here- but maybe with time they will figure it out!
