Quitman minister arrested

Dang, he deserved it anyways. He's a fake preacher and he doesn,t speak the word of god. He speaks what he wants. He talks about people over the radio. What kinda preacher is that?

I think that this man needs to be locked up for lyfe. He beats his wife and kids badly. Once when I was there i took a knife out on his son {BLAKE}. He choked and body slammed the poor boy to death. ARREST HIM

This man name is Greg Hamilton. He doesn't take care of home the way he should. He comes home anytime of the night. I am a member of his church: Shumate Church of Christ, and I don't even like him. He abuses his wife and needs to be in jail. He also trys to touch on younger teens and I know who the person is. It's his very own daughter.

I understand where Beehive is coming from, because he is that way when he gets angry and then he just doesnt care. He's my preacher and I talk to him, but I wouldn't tell him anything personal

Why don't you two find another church and quit your belly-aching ! Or DO you like to jut complain how everyone is evil but you ??

I have just learn of these comments and I feel so sorry for people who work so hard to hurt others. My stand of what is right and been attack by people who support wrong. Whom ever it is that has posted such lies about me, my family and my Church; I pray God hold not against their charge. I pray that God will forgive them for they know not what they do. I forgive them as well and feel so sorry for Leslie and the unknown author. May God be with all of us in all we do. Amen

I think it's so amazing in these modern times that people are able to reach out and touch their story and speak their mind on a subject that is important to them. Now they are able to tell the person what's on their mind, but in an open forum like this, they are telling everyone in the world. I am in no way affiliated with anyone in this forum, I live states away and know no one here. I just stumbled in here with a few clicks. But I can tell you this since I am unbias, the wrong party here needs to understand that justice will come.

I attend the church that he preaches at now, my husband and I have been providing a home for Blake Hamilton to stay after his father beat him up in front of my sister Friday, May 1st of 2009. He and my younger sister arrived at my mother's house shaken up and crying, his head was bloody right above his eyebrows from the blows that his father gave him. He also had a bloody back from his dad tackling him to the ground and he also was complaining of a headache for the next two days from his dad slammimng his head on the concrete in front of their home. My thing is I have been attending this church since I was a baby girl and I want to continue to attend but how do I do that when I am housing his child and he is acting as if his child committied some crime when all he did was take his sisters over to my mother's home, feed them and bring them home? And he was mad because the he couldn't get in contact with Blake, when the reason he could not was because his dad demanded his paycheck from him for the car he let him drive? Anyone who has any questions or any doubts of what I am saying just post your doubts, and let me know, I have photos that "Brother Hamilton" cannot deny.

I have only heard about this mess from a distance. I always thought that a minister was to be the leader of the church and that means leading by example. I hope that the members of this church would do the right things and call him out on his actions. A christian does not have to identify himself/herself. It shows in the life that they lead and in the way that they walk. It is not about what you say, but more about what you do.

We will not take this mess in San Diego, CA. Preacher or not he need to be taken before the Church before he destroys it. My bible teach me to train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. This verse implies that parents should discern the individuality and special strengths that God has given each one. But if the “father” is a poor example who is the son to look up to.1 Timothy 3: 5 is a standard set for Church leaders. For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the Church of God? Spiritual leadership, however, must begin at home. If a man is not willing to care for his son, discipline, and teach his children (not beat them) he then is NOT QUALIFIED TO LEAD THE CHURCH. He will only destroy Christ Body because he is not a stable “or” God fearing spiritual person. This preacher needs to be removed from the pulpit and get personal help before he hurts other souls in God's kingdom.
It’s the Elders job to make sure that they over see protect and feed that flock not the preacher Act. 20:28. Go to them and if you need help let us know. So Satan has found his way into Church of Christ in San Diego. Preaching his venemous doctrine that has Church members spying on one another, Brutalizing his wife and children, poisioning the minds of Church leaders with false statements about those of the congregation that do not yield to his demands, building a cadre of power seeking members to do his bidding in hopes of some favor from the master, and it goes on and on. Surely his oratorical skill that increases the size of the congregation and doubles the offering is not more valuable than the Christian character that he destroys in his satanic exploits. What leadership would employ such a demonic individual.

this is for Vitaveya C. Look, you need to take this info to the Leadership of 38th street. We can say all we want to on this blog, but it isn't getting us anywhere. there are souls and lives in danger with that man being there. I would say something,to the leadership, but i don't go there and it would look like i'm trying to get some mess started....but you have first hand PROOF of what is going on. the scriptures teach that if "we know to do good and do it not it is sin..." James 4:17. It would be GOOD for you to report this "crazed man" to the leadership...if they don't listen then take it to the next level....ask God for His guidance on that. Blake and his mother needs help and you might be the one to save them from this evil and sinful man. this situation is in my prayers...please tell the leadership NOW!!!! God Bless You!

It appears that Mr. Hamilton coudn't find any qualified youth minister in the San Diego area. His power of persuasion is outstanding. He appears to have fully taken over the San Diego church. He who pays the bills calls the shots.

Now that's quite interesting. I didn't know that...Wow, the devil is very busy!!! Dose anyone know if V.C. contacted the leadership regarding this issue?

I also find it very interesting that he failed to be present at his son's graduation, for what reason would you not show if you had nothing to hide? And as a Christian minister, he is aware of what the bible says about holding grudges, it's very obvious that he DOES NOT PRACTICE WHAT HE PREACHES! You're suppose to love your son, but you haven't made any efforts to reach him and apologize for beating up on him. He always says every sermon "You ought to love your preacher" He also tells everyone that he loves them, but he can't love anyone in the church if he doesnt love his own family, he beats up on hs wife and children, so how can he possibly love them?
