You are darn right it's a big NO NO!!
Havertown is a proud community raising families and many are 2nd and third generation residents. My parents grew up here and my grandparents and I have watched parts of Upper Darby decline over the years and have a great concern for the preservation of Havertown. I pass by the 3 proposed billboard sites enumerous times throughout a week. The school bus will drive by the site 2x a day. One of the sites is next to a church preschool both of my children attended. This is my backyard, my community, my property values and I will never agree to allow any billboard of any size deface and devalue my hometown! As a mother I say SHAME on YOU Thaddeus, SHAME on you! |
