<quoted text> I get it you hate gays! Is that simple enough or would you like to review the nasty stuff straights do in public. The difference is you as most of us at one time in your life been a little less than churchy yourself.
You don't get it. Are you dumb or just stupid! I don't hate gays or anyone. I have gay friends but they don't try to force me to be like them, just like I don't try to force them to change. They also DO NOT hang on each other and try to force me to see what they do. KEEP IT @ HOME AND PRIVATE is what I am saying. RESPECT others & yourself and stop crying around. I am not a "churchy" person. I don't go to church because I feel that a church will not get me where I am going...I will. So you are wrong on both counts. And not once did I say I was perfect and I won't because there are no perfect people on earth.
Chick-fil-a has always ben known as a "Christian business"not open on Sunday's etc... so I am sure they had already realized that by making this stance they would get more of the Christian business and a little less of the gay business. They do not give a crap, gay or straight ----- they just ant you to buy a damned chicken sandwich.
"Agree with us, or we'll take you out." This is what the rest of the world around Chick-fil-A is saying. Companies calling for boycott's, politicians saying they won't allow them into their cities anymore, and so on. I don't get this. Not one bit. So what if you don't agree with gay marriage. Should you have to assimilate with the rest of the Borg to be "right?" Just one more proof that the h0m0sexua1 activist community is the real "hate-monger" force who can't respect other people's right to religion. They blab about "tolerance" and "hate", but they apparetly want to bankrupt anyone who believes what the Bible says. That's "tolerance" and love? I don't think so. They used to say that Bible-believing Christians needed to "tolerate" them, but now it's that they won't tolerate us. They no longer demand mere "tolerance", but now, they demand that we EMBRACE and APPROVE their chosen sins and CEASE from SPEAKING our RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS on the subject. If we don't embrace their way of life, they demonize us. When we said we didn't want their flagrant marches in the streets, they claimed, "freedom of speech". Now, they want to stifle our freedom of speech AND our freedom of religion. I hope some politicians try to bar Chic-fil-a from their towns and get sued all the way to the Supreme Court for religious persecution. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/24/mike...
You know this whole thing has been an example of over reacting.
First Mr.Kathy while within his first amendment right to say what he did as asinine it was, was over reactionary to his fear of a threat to traditional marriage (as he decided it is). The mayors and aldermen over reacted and threatened action beyond their authority. They cannot and should not attempt to prevent a business from operating anywhere that it would normally be allowed. By doing that they gave a great gift to those who have claimed government interferes in their rights because now it has happened and they have a real example. Huckabee and anyone who didn't want to risk their psudo christanity membership over reacted supporting a business that funds hate groups working to take liberties from others and make a nice fast buck for themselves.
What constructive work has been accomplished?
None, all this has done is separate us further and distract us from real issues that require real solutions and cooperation from all of us.
Mark twain said "It Is Easier To Fool People Than To Convince People That They Have Been Fooled."
I think he would get a really big laugh out of all this drama.

In 2008 did u call Obama out for his asinine statement?
“I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian…it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix.”OBAMA
<quoted text> It's profitable to pick a fight that will swarm your store with fundamentalists that think bringing you their business will support their judgmental, not very Christ like cause. In the end the store makes money, bigots get to feel empowered, nothing positive is accomplished.
I guess you believe it's o.k. for the government to ban stores because the owner uses FREE Speeach!

A person of conscience will often change their mind when they have had time to consider issues further. He expressed his opinion at the time. He has since considered the issue and changed his opinion.
He hasn't funded hate groups intent on and working to take the civil liberties of citizens.
Regardless of what you, me ,Mr Kathy or President Obama think, the civil liberties of all citizens are protected by our constitution. When you begin taking those liberties you are on a very dangerous slope where other liberties are endangered.
<quoted text> its obvious you read topix posts like most people read the bible. try reading marks post again but this time read the entire thing. you really make yourself look foolish by cropping his post then asking a stupid question he has already answered, in the section you cropped out.
You never know about Mr. Rice as he flips and flops on all matters to try to make himself look all so smart. Typical liberal! Just like Obama does. Monday Mr. Rice will be for government to rule all aspects of our lives.
