I just saw a commercial for a Food City midnight madness sale on 8/29. Does anyone know anything about it? Is there an ad in todays paper?

During the last Midnight Madness sale, they sold that same toilet paper half price. It is my fault, I should have read the packaging, but it was just one ply. I assumed it was two ply. It was like using public restroom TP in the comfort of your own home...only with the scratched up butt hole feeling! LOL...Not pleasant at all. Whenever we would have guests over, they would comment about our poor choice in toilet paper as they were laughing about it. I can't say I really blame them... I just laughed and said, "I know. I know, but I don't want to waste it. We just have to double up on the amount we use." My sister said, "Well, we would have done the same thing!" ...LOL

Over-hyped nonsense, very few items are on sale, and many are marked up.

It's a good sale if you like bologna and egg sandwiches washed down with food city cola.

Chicken is also on sale. Why cut down a sale, it may not be what you want, but someone else may need it.

These idiot posters are not allowed out of their house and wouldn't know how to push a grocery cart.

Yeah boy, no one is going to get over on a guy like you who likes nothing better than to count traincars as they go by and guess about what they got in them and their destination. No way, just just too sharp.

People think that they are getting a bargain and such these days like 10 for 10... That's overkill and only sounds good but is not always good. You do not get no bargain any more!!

FoodCity quality of sales even in the Sunday paper has gone down. They have stuff advertised, but in very small print it says you have to buy X number of items to get the cheaper price. It is this way on the shelf tags, too. This can be very misleading-paricularly tp the elderly who might have trouble seeing the smaller print.I used to shop pretty much exclusively at FC, but not anymore.

It infuriates me how the people responsible for the food that is in the grocery store want to charge enough to makle a profit for it and then Food City marks it up even more to make a profit for them too!! What's up with that?? It's all about the money. People have a right to food in this country don't they? A right for food and a house and a car and color tv and air conditioning and cell phones and dishwashers and nice carpet and a lot more stuff. The rich people all got it so we other people should have it too!!!
The government is supposed to be taking care of us. That's what they been teaching us at East High, anyways.
