Nothing, he sat there like a child being scolded and didn't know what to say just like you don't know what to say when someone puts it to you straight up.
I sure as Hell don't need your kids-{cops} or any cop to protect me.I'm well equipped with a CCP AND the right firearm to protect myself if need be.So go finger your ass over someone else who will ooh and awe at some Bacon boy.
You know what anti doughnut dumbass.........if you were not "CHICKEN SHIT" yourself as you put it you (idiot as it stands) would put your REAL NAME ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER!! You know something Buckwheat most cops I know have served this country proudly as well as I did and from what ive been reading from your post you just hate law enforcment in general. Did you get caught breaking the law one day? I bet you would be the first one to call one if someone broke into your home and stole your home and stole your diploma that makes you so educated and allows you to earn that big paycheck.

I may be mistaken but by all accounts the daughter was in the house at the time this man was shot. As he lay dying the mother went to her and slapped her across the face, blaming her for calling the law. Whether I am wrong on the facts or not, the point is this mother slapped her child because she called the law. How ignorant of a mother can one be? Her boyfriend (or whatever he was) was apparently more important to her than her own child. This little girl had to have been scared out of her mind to call, and to get the law there. This was not the child's fault. Had these two "grown ups" acted right, one would not be dead now and the other would not have went to jail. How screwed up do people have to be? This child did not cause this couple to behave in the manner in which they did. Also, when deadly force is used- I always wonder, "How come the officer didn't just shoot him in the leg, the arm, or the shoulder? That would have been enough to have caused him to drop his weapon." I don't know. I just don't know why deadly force had to be used. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, NO I didn't know these people, but still wonder- why wasn't he just shot in a location on his body that would have caused him to drop his weapon, which is what the officers wanted to begin with? Had this happened, he would have been injured, but alive.????

I know plenty of officers who have been hurt, shot, stabbed and even killed by a WOUNDED suspect. Anything less that shoot to kill is a danger to the officer and others.

good, so you've just made it clear to the shooting victims grieving sister that you feel he deserves it. Do you feel better, now that you've hurt someone? All of you need to do some research on PTSD, I don't think any of you understand what happens when someone goes to war. Someone was calling me an ignorant child because I disagreed with them. I never claimed to be a decorated war hero...just the daughter of one
did u even read the comment? Where in there does it say I "feel he deserves it" or what part of the comment implies such a statement? U are ignorant if u can't understand the whole comment is stating the process in which an officer is forced to make the decision to use deadly force. And to explain to the previous poster why his comment was invalid.

Hmm.....
Your and idiot!!!!!! Police murder a guy in a Neibhorhood with people around seeing everything that went down you are a idiot them guys are trained to protect the suspect and the victims and the officer obviously had a reason to protect his self or the victims police wouldn't just shoot someone for no reason especially the one that had to do it because he is a very good officer and a smart one at that.

"you are a idiot"...if you're upset that you can't make a valid and debatable point and feel the need to name call, it might help you if you did it properly...I'm one of the only ones here stating that we DO NOT have all the facts, ad no I do not know if had PTSD, which is why I also said I would like to find out...."you are a idiot" lolol that in itself is a priceless statement.

I to am sorry for ur loss and as a vet myself know what PTSD is all about. This is a tragic situation that didn't have to end the way it did had she not gone back and attacked him. With his training I am sure he was only picking up the gun again for self defense and she should be charged with second degree murder. I wish u and ur family the best of luck recovering from this and send my prayers to all.

Bullshit, they call for backup for the main reason of not being able to handle the situation alone. That in itself tells me a lot even though you apparently can't fathom it.
As for the degree, well, it's hanging in my office where I placed it 25 years ago.Do you think any of your hero's could handle 10 people dragging one of them around? I think not, therefore, it only tells me of some cops perception of bravery. It is a fact that people are braver while in a group, henceforth the "calling for backup" mentality that most cops have........Bravery for sure while in a pack and not very "brave like" to some in the public's eye. I'm just not overly impressed with some possible would be bully with a wet dream of earning 18 to 24K a year, while shining up that spiffy little star and playing hero to the world, though afraid to step into a bar without his buddies. We're NOT impressed, NOR shall I be any time soon.By the way, as far as cuss words are concerned, I really don't give a flying FUCK who likes it or not.
They dont call BACKUP, most of the time its policy that backup is sent to every call especially on domestic calls. You are so obviously someone that has had bad altercations with the law (or your family member did) no one gives your words any weight.

Dont believe it for 1 second, no one with your hatred of law enforcement came to be that way with out interacting with them in some negative manor. Its to easy to lie about yourself while hiding behind a keyboard.

I don't know anything about these people, but it's going around that the man who was shot served 2 tours in Iraq. when someone has severe PTSD, a police officer ordering you to drop your weapon isn't going to register. None of you know the truth and jump to these wild conclusions, but if he really is a vet than I feel bad for those of you calling him a scumbag based on heresay. True ignorance is passing judgement on something you know nothing about...
I'm so sick of hearing about PTSD. War is tough, get over it. If you can't handle warfare, don't join the military. PTSD my ass.. I've got the PTSD...gonna go psycho and get babied because I can't take it anymore, my pussy is killing me. I don't give a shit if he was severely retatrded. When police say " drop the gun " you drop the gun. Suck that hammer...

police are trained to shoot twice and there trained to shoot center mass. Many officers have been injured, shot, stabbed, and killed by suspects who were just wounded. So unfortunately officers are not trained to try and aim for an arm or leg, center mass is the standard for all police and military law enforcement. It's a sad situation

Really didn't your brother go AWOL from army?? and at 23 its almost impossible to serve 2 yours in Iraq...futhermore he should have probably been in Afganistan.....we pulled out of Iraq....and when did he come home from all this "service" anyways he might have been a good guy but his GF was the one that made this situaion progress.....sorry he is gone but PTSD is not a diagnosis the army gives quickly....the cop done what he had to do (what he was trained for) just like your brother was trained.....to protect himself and the others around him

Here are the facts. One the officer was wrong to fire the second shot after the first one hit the guy he knealed over and no longer posed a threat. Second the officer will be cleared of any wrong doing. Overholt, the lowest scumbag on Earth will see to it. Nobody that carries a badge can be trusted!!! Period!! My family members do and I know the system. I don't trust anyone who has a badge. The TBI is the same so they will all get together in a room and get a story made up to tell the public and the stupid, blindsided citizens will believe it. And if an officer comes to YOUR house for some reason and you are shot dead, trust me the police will get away with that too. Can't wait until the headlines in the paper reads "police Chief shot dead" then we can all start cheering for real.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Pisces

You're raring to go today, especially on domestic projects. You'll achieve a tremendous amount if you're allowed to proceed at your own pace and in your own time, but you'll soon get ratty if you suspect someone is breathing down your neck or trying to tell you what to do. You'll also feel irritated with people you know really well, so be prepared for a few fireworks.
