Good point.

People take better care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, etceteras than they do children.

look them kids was thiesty that is my sister and i know the whole story. you should just keep you rude comments to yourself cuz you dont know what kind of person she really is!! she had to go get them kids something to drink! what about the cops it took them just as long to get there as it did for her to get out of the store another 5 min and she would have been gone
Look, brat, you are obviously biased and care more about your sister than those nine kids.(Not to mention making multiple posts under fake names.)

If they were so thirsty they could have stayed home and had something to drink. Or she could have stopped at a gas station or just use Walmart's vending machines. Even if she did simply run in to get them drinks (because it was HOT outside) it does not take 20min to over an hour to do so!

Or if they were so hot and thirsty why did she not take them home or inside the air-conditioned store?

Since the merger our non-emergency and even 911 lines take quite a while to get through.(Almost not even worth reporting anymore.) Factor in that time, plus what was needed to talk during the call and explain what is going on as well as giving the officers time to get there- was far too long. Also, the citizen who made the report waited for 5 minutes or so before making the call.

Try holding your breath for five minutes and see how long it feels. It can be a long time depending on one's circumstances.

Whether it was 20minutes or over an hour, it is a miracle those kids were not dehydrated, burned, or abducted. I imagine they were probably lethargic at least...

Okay apparently someone using AOL claiming to be the 19-year-old's sister is making multiple posts under many different names (and poor typing skills).

She was obviously shopping for more than drinks for the kids...

"Noticed the children in the van and called police at 8:06 p.m. Officer Ryan Irwin arrived about 15 minutes later, and Dodson returned to the van with a load of groceries at 8:26 p.m., according to the report."

Okay the 5-month old was taken into custody and the BOYFRIEND's two kids were released to him? Pure EST. She looks like a baby. Someone ought to slap her mother for the bad home training.

BECAUSE the BOYFRIEND is not the baby daddy, that's why he took his and the baby went into care.

Question is, WHY didn't family members of this child get him if they were capable of taking their own home?

Could be the kids (other than her's) were all related to the boyfriend. His nieces and nephews. Or maybe they took the baby to the hospital for observation, or they should have.

LIL BLACK SAMBO...Now there's a name I haven't heard for years. My mom bought me the Little Black Sambo book when I was just 4 years old. It's a cute story. It's a pity that book isn't available anymore, what with being PC and all...

It was a strip joint for a long time after that.
But that's another story.

But that's another story.
I ate breakfast there many times, in the past (no, NOT when it was a strip joint:).
I can't remember if it just folded, or they were forced to change the name, and it folded because of that.
I believe the building still stands. But if that is it, very dilapidated.
Hey how about this: remember the old Popeye cartoons when natives were depicted with dinner plates stuck in their lips, and boiling the white explorers in the vat, while dancing to bongos?

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Gemini

If you're currently keeping something secret it will really start to prey on your mind today and you'll worry about blurting it out at the wrong moment. It's one of those days in which you're absent-minded and completely wrapped up in your own thoughts. As a result, it will be hard to concentrate on anything else and this won't go down well in certain quarters.
